I'm honestly thinking that he was trying to create chaos with all his ramblings of conflicting beliefs.

I also saw Peter king say yesterday that captain Kelly her husband took eli mannings jersey into space after the super bowl win.

Not trying to make light of the situation, just adding that it is interesting how things can always relate to so many people in so many different ways.

interesting story, she hired an intern 6 days ago, that intern probably saved her life. after she was shot, and while people around him where getting shot, he took her head in his lap and put pressure on both wounds and talked to her to try and keep her conscious telling her to squeeze his arm and things like that.

a man that had only been on the job 5 days risked his own life to save a woman he barley knew. there are some amazing people in this world, truly amazing.
 
I am still seething over this. I can't get the whole scene out of my head.

I would get banned from this site if I said in detail what I would like to do to this sack of crap.
 
The little girl that was killed was also the granddaughter of Dallas Green, former MLB manager (Phillies and Mets).
 
Hey folks, the mother of the little girl was just on the news here in Tucson. How she had the strength I do not know.

This is heartbreaking. Their neighbor took her to the event to meet Giffords. The neighbor is one of the ones clinging to life.

The neighbor's husband got a call to rush to the hospital and he called the little girl's Mom and told her as well. At the time neither knew what had happened.

On the way to the hospital the husband heard the news of the shooting. The little girl's Mom did not turn on the radio. She thought perhaps they had been in a car wreck.

Horrid. I can't even fathom what they must be going through.

wow. The neighbor took the little girl....wow. Those families must be so heartbroken.

The world is a cruel place, I really cant stand violence. What a waste of lives.

Another sports angle, Dallas Green's son (the girl's father) works for the Dodgers in their scouting department.

This is just unbelievable. It happened in my town too Hos last April. It wasn't on this scale, but a guy went on a rampage at two locations around town. Luckily he only took one life before he offed himself. But he did wound a number of people.

It sure makes you think twice when you go in public... at least it did for me.
 
The authorities seized 2 envelopes from a safe in his home. One had a title on it "I Planned This" and the other "My Assassination."

There are also letters to and from Giffords and a single note with her name and his signature on it.

She was the target, no doubt.

The 911 calls are being released now.

Here are the local news sites you can check for stuff on. I do want to give the first link some credit. They are the only one who did not follow the NPR report that Giffords was dead. In fact the reporters said, "it is being reported, but we cannot confirm that so we will not report it."

I can't believe her mother was composed enough to do an interview. I would have cried in a windowless room for a month or longer.

Fox and CNN also reported it. The Local News people were the only ones who seemed to have done it properly.
