I already have.

The risk is that since Jerry invested everything he owned to buy the Cowboys he needed immediate income unlike all of the other owners .

So again, while it was a risk in sorts for Jerry temporarily if he didn't have some success on the field there was no risk the Cowboys were going to lose their value .

If you want to keep arguing it go ahead. I posted a link with a quote from Jerry...case closed!

The Cowboys had their worst 4 years since the expansion years with numerous non sellouts and local blackouts with as low as 40,000 in attendance during the lowest time in Cowboys history under Bum but the net worth of the Cowboys still grew from 85 to 140 million even though they had a cash flow negative of about a million a month.

Maybe you need a better understanding of business and accounting to comprehend buying the Cowboys is not what you'd consider a high risk.

The Cowboys would have been in much better hands with other bids from the Mavericks original owner and or the Lakers owner who wouldn't have needed to use all of their finances to buy the Cowboys who BTW had higher bids than Jerry.

I can't recall when another NFL owner had to sell everything they had to buy a team. I imagine Jerry thought he was taking a risk . He certainly was taking a huge risk insisting on running football operations and firing Landry.

I'm not sure if someone has mentioned this or not, but both QB's have very different play styles. Making opponents have to plan for two separate game plans is great tactics. Both healthy and ready to start? Dynamite!
