Do they revoke your man card at DCU if you agree with me or something?

He's talking about 2 off seasons. You want to focus only on one. The one least likely to have happened. Revelation ace, it didn't happen after 2013 either. That is the point. It is obvious to everyone except you and the Like crowd I suppose.

You'd like your minions to think I focused on only one so that's that's where you take the conversation. No dice Ace. You act like Garrett not getting canned after his 3rd full year is some sort of revelation. I got news for you, I'm not impressed. Quick, tell us that Miles will be designated a June 1st cut and keep the streak going.

Or maybe because he had a couple of years remaining on his contract and Jerry's not going to squander 3 million per year on a coach that's no longer here........

And what ignorance is that? It is always obvious when the nerve is struck.
As you know, I live in the rural South. I know plenty of the poor, rural people that you say have this feeling if being inferior. It is far from the truth. Most of these people are proud, hard-working, honest people that feel like they are not inferior to anybody and they feel money is sure not the way to measure a man. Being poor will sure motivate somebody to do better, but money doesn't make them inferior.

He never claimed it was a revelation, nor did I. He simply said that I stuck stubbornly to my guns that he was not going to be fired despite missing the playoffs once again. I did, and he wasn't. Very sorry that he gave credence to my thoughts on Jason Garrett. It was strange to me too as you can see if you read my responses to him.

Oh, and I already said Miles would be a June 1 cut last year when he got hurt again and Williams was producing. Many did. We understand the numbers game, and the agendas.

I don't have any minions, animated or otherwise.

Wouldn't happen to know where I could get some minions, would you Hoss? They might be fun to play with.

I think it's hilarious that birdwells1, who has disagreed with me as much as anyone on this forum, basically got called a minion for giving me some credit on Jason Garrett. Hilarious.

As I watched the Final Four, .. and they showed outside aireal shots of AT&T Stadium, ... it looked gorgeoous. It is a fabulous arena, a fabulous piece of architecture.
And I mean fabulous, .. a one of a kind piece of work.

That is Jerry's house, ... and he and his family run that house. They are a huge success at running that house. He has to be extremely proud of AT&T every time it is shown on TV.

There they were hosting the NCAA Final Four, a huge sporting event in America. With dignitaries, star athletes, .. even ex-presidents in attendance!

They have hosted the Super Bowl, an even bigger sporting event in America. They are the host's to many social events at their Billion Dollar Stadium.

What a proud weekend it must be for Jerry Jones, as the eyes of America are on his family's "house". His crowning jewel.

And it dawned on me that in the grand scheme of everything that is "Jerry Jones, his family, and the beautiful stadium", .. the Cowboys are no more than their "pride and joy" show dog that they enter in competition shows. Garrett is the handler.

They love that show dog, and are extremely proud of him when he wins, ... but whether he wins or not, it has little bearing on the family and their grand palace home/business.

They want him to win, but are satisfied and proud even when he "shows well". But when the show is over, they still come back and enjoy everything else that is going on at "the house".

And for Jerry and his family there is nothing wrong with any of that.

The mistake is ours, ... for putting so much stock, so much of our time and energy in the 'show dog' and the 'competition' that they enter him in.

It is huge for us, .. but only a 'piece' of the Jerry Jones empire.

I never said anyone was inferior. I said inferiority complex. Your post goes to demonstrate what I am talking about. We get that it is important to you that no one thinks themselves above you. You dance the same jig the sharecroppers did a century ago.

All it takes to lead that type by the nose is to point them at the ones that are supposedly getting uppity. It's difficult to see when your being patronized under such pretenses. Keeps the southern elites in their modern plantation homes.

He claimed people shouldn't question your thoughts on JG's status with the team because you've been right the last two years. The fact that Jerry won't fire his hand picked HC in waiting after two or three seasons adds little to your veracity as the Op was inferring. It was common sense, no more, no less and that's not going out on a limb.

You wanted to make it seem like you have some inside info thus your comment "I haven't wavered in the slightest. When you see me waver on Garrett's future, pay attention." Yeah, no inference to some information the rest of the fan base may not have access to.

I have no thoughts of anyone being above me. I was speaking for the people that you assume to have inferiority complexes. I see these people every day and I disagree with your ignorant assumptions . Your comment on the Southern Elite and our plantation homes is foolish as well. Due to this conversation heading in a political direction, this will end it for me.

I did. Believe that or don't, I really don't care. I am however glad to see that you admit all of you anti-Garrett crowd admit to lacking common sense. That is priceless.

Then say it. Don't tip toe around the subject or question the use of the word "revelation." I understood what the Op may have been inferring and exactly what you were inferring. And if your source tells you that Garrett won't be canned after two full years on the job, then don't waste your money buying him lunch for that tidbit. You could have gotten that same info right here for free. Here's another one....Romo, Dez, nor Witten won't be cut before the start of the season. I'm going to stick stubbornly to my guns on this one and I'm not guessing. No thanks needed.........

The more I see of this, the more pictures we become privy to, etc., .. I just can't see this as anyting other than a pretty nice thing that Jerry Jones did.

He didn't have to invite anybody up in his suite.

Each person got a call from a representative of Jerry Jones asking, .. would you like to sit in Jerry's suite during the NCAA Basketball National Championship game. Jerry is inviting you to do so, .. let us know.

That is a generous thing to do.

Not much more to read into it that I can tell.
