No sir, I am not. I don't have the tea leaves you have, nor the turban, nor a crystal ball. I don't see the future. You're not worrying "now" but you will be after the 2014 season if the Cowboys miss the playoffs for a 5th straight year and suffer through yet another mediocre season or do you not consider what we've been seeing under Garrett as mediocre?
Charlotte J Anderson @CJonesAnderson 7h
@mspear96 just to left was Demarco and Irvin. Emmitt and Demarcus (yes even after he signed with Denver )..
Boom goes the dynamite.
Well Murray was there too along with Ware, so.....lol? And honestly, if players get butt-hurt because the franchise QB and gets special treatment, then really, who freakin' cares. That's their problem.
Or she could be pointing out the other people/players who were also in the suite...who just happened to be black. I'm pretty sure if Sean Lee was there, she'd have mentioned him, as well. Why did she feel the need to include all of the black athletes that were in the suite? Marcus Spears never made it a race issue, he just said other guys on the team. Maybe Cole Beasley or Jeff Heath would've liked a invite too. He was more talking about certain guys getting superstar treatment. Spears was not even talking about Emmitt or Michael. I took it as he was talking about the grunt guys not feeling they were worthy of sitting amongst the stars.
I don't know. I never looked at a single player as Black or White. To me she merely mentioned other players not in the limited shot of the entire suite, and they happen to be Black. My reaction to that is so what? I'm not shocked that Ware was there even though he's not even on the team. The Cowboys do not see Black and White. Nor do I.Why did she feel the need to include all of the black athletes that were in the suite? Marcus Spears never made it a race issue, he just said other guys on the team. Maybe Cole Beasley or Jeff Heath would've liked a invite too. He was more talking about certain guys getting superstar treatment. Spears was not even talking about Emmitt or Michael. So lazy.
Find the links to disprove it yourself.
If I was a player and didn't get an invite, it wouldn't bother me. I just don't care for this kinda thing. As a fan, I wouldn't care to go either, but I understand Spear's point. This kinda thing is important to some people and I am sure that some of the players would have liked an invite to hang out with Jerry and his crew. Some players want to be the owner and coaches favorite. It happens at all levels of sports.

I just see a football team being built the way I want, and I do the math on what I firmly believe is coming.

I interpreted Spears' comments alluding more to how the tight friendships between JG, Romo and Witten keep them untouchable in terms of ever taking the fall for failures. We've pretty much only experienced failure here under that regime, yet for some reason or another they always seem to be the guys that come out of the mess clean while everyone else gets thrown under the bus.
Would be hard for me to trust any of those 3 if I were in that locker room, and that's what Spears was saying.
For the last two offseasons Hostile has confidently said that Garrett wouldn't be fired and he has been correct. I wouldn't go against him on jg's coaching status.
You know these are ADULTS we're talking about, right? Come on.
Yes, that's really going out on a limb. Tell me that after another 8 and 8 season when Garrett's contract expires and missing the playoffs for the 4th straight season and you may be on to something.
winner winner, chicken dinner. this man gets it.
