Might be the most undeserving player in the NFL.

He does nothing outstanding he can’t move. He has no arm strength. He throws pop flies. He has no emotion. The fans are not clamoring for him like most fan base is clamor for a back up quarterback.

The fan base wants to see the third string quarterback, not him playing/ he does nothing to help the organization moving forward.

There’s really no upside to him even being on the roster he’s completely overpaid.

He was awful in that game yesterday fumbling snaps, terrible decisions weak throws behind the receiver, missing wide open targets.

Not playing Trey Lance a guy that you gave up a fourth round pick for and just riding with a clipboard is beyond asinine. This is the time to see if this guy can actually be a serviceable roster player.

Rush is a guy that was released and played for the Giants and somehow found his way back to Dallas.

Again, he adds nothing to the football team.

If he throws five touchdowns on Thursday, it still means nothing he is neither of the present or the future.
Yes he does. Cooper has a head for the game. Reads D's in a flash.

Maybe he's our next HC in waiting.

Disagree.

He has no redeeming qualities as a future NFL starting QB. Obviously nobody's building their team around him.

But there is absolutely a place for Cooper Rush as a trusty veteran backup QB who plays within himself, tries to manage the game and doesn't try to do too much.

His W/L record speaks for itself. Give him a defense and he can win you some games.

That being said, this is a lost season - which is why I also want Trey Lance to play rather than Rush. Rush likely does give us the best chance to win games right now.

I will never understand how some of you get so vitriolic over a football team. It’s kinda cringe.

He throws 2 TD’s to guys Dak ignores Schoon & Tolbert he doesn’t throw a horrible pick or get strip sacked he wins a game on the road against a heavily favored team and yet here we are with a negative thread about Rush

I mean… Dak did throw it to Tolbert and Schoonmaker was behind Ferguson so obviously had less opportunities.

Throws to Tolbert were far few between . With Dak when 88 is doubled up it’s panic time no progressions . Schoon is the same downfield target he’s always been . Except now he’s flashing .

Jamal Brooks good example . For some reason Cooper finds him every game for a chunk play .

The only losers are you haters. Dak has a winning career record, about to break all franchise passing records once he comes back, and he is a top 10 QB statistically. Plus, he's your franchise QB for the next 4 years. That sounds like winning.
I think he was ranked outside the top 20 before he went down.

What game were you watching??? Rush did a fine job yesterday, sure a couple of passes were short, but he did a hell of a lot better than the 60 million dollar bum. As for Lance, he had no business coming in for 2 lousy plays that took away from an offense that looks like it may be clicking under Rush’s leadership!!!

No. Tolbert averaged 5.4 targets per game with Dak as starter and has averaged 4.7 targets with Rush as starter.

Oh, you care about the rankings now?

Did you care last year as well? Guess where he was ranked last year.
I was simply stating a fact. Last year does nothing for this year. Not sure where my comment hurt you enough to lash out. Geez.
