First of all, I have documented posts here pulling and cheering for him... even stating how thankful I was of his solid play. So sorry to inform you that you were wrong about that....

Second. You have made my point!! In order for Rush to be an All-Pro, MVP candidate or top 10, he would have to play. There is a reason why he hasn't played too many games for the Cowboys or any other NFL franchise. He's a solid backup and nothing more.

That's why it's stupid and un-informed for people to try to compare him to Dak or most starting quarterbacks in this league, especially the ones who have been top 10 most of their careers, an All Pro and MVP candidate.

No I think Dak is better just stating fax on numbers I think Dak played against better competition then Rush plus less pressure s on Rush ! Not saying he is better just better stats for the games they played !

Aside from this last game where he shockingly actually threw the ball more than 5 yds, most of Rush's passes have been of the dumpoff variety. Dak's career YPA is 7.6 Rush's is 6.4

1. Dak has led us to the playoffs before, Dak has been a perennial top 10 player his whole career, Dak has been an All-Pro and an MVP candidate.

What playoffs have Rush led us to? Why didn't Rush lead us to the playoffs this season?

When has Rush EVER been a top 10 quarterback?

When has Rush ever had an All-Pro season?

When has Rush's name been tossed in the MVP conversation? When has Rush ever led the league in TDs and passing yards?

Dak has done all of those things that Rush has never done and will NEVER do.

Rush has been in the league one year less than Dak and has bounced off and on practice squads and held a clipboard his whole career aside of a few games here or there.

Dak isn't elite, but Cooper Rush's name should NOT be in the same conversation as a perennial top 10, former All-Pro and MVP candidate.

Dak shouldn't get credit for beating cellar dwellers and then choking versus good teams, either.
Rush plays well versus good teams and bad teams.
Rush is better than Dak, but Dak has the contract, so the Cowboys are doomed to continue losing.
By the time Dak's career is over, there will be no trace of the Cowboys that once stood for excellence. All that will be left is a shell of a franchise that once had a good name.
What fans are getting to see right now is the last of the Cowboys we once loved. Beating Tampa Bay was a chance to see them play the way they used to play. But next year, that will be over.
