A couple of people on this board have been saying that Dak's OL was better because it was all of the starters, but two of those starters were absolute garbage. Martin is cooked and he's done as an nfl player - ever since he got hurt this line has turned it around.

They said during the game Rushs release time was 2.3 seconds, second quickest in the league.

That said the line and defense have been much better as they've had a chance to gel.

Dak shouldn't get credit for beating cellar dwellers and then choking versus good teams, either.
Rush plays well versus good teams and bad teams.
Rush is better than Dak, but Dak has the contract, so the Cowboys are doomed to continue losing.
By the time Dak's career is over, there will be no trace of the Cowboys that once stood for excellence. All that will be left is a shell of a franchise that once had a good name.
What fans are getting to see right now is the last of the Cowboys we once loved. Beating Tampa Bay was a chance to see them play the way they used to play. But next year, that will be over. If Rush is so good, why has he spent so many years on and off of practice squads? Why wasn't he claimed off of those practice squads by other NFL teams?

I really love and appreciate what Rush has contributed, but you are borderline delusional if you really believe Rush is better than Dak.

Let me say this. The other 31 GMs, coaches and coordinators don't believe Rush is better than Dak. If that was the case he would have BEEN gone off of this roster.

The brutal truth is that Cooper Rush is 4-3 with the same 2024 team that Dak was 3-5 with. Even if you don’t think Cooper is better than Dak, convince me how Dak is 58 million dollars better than Cooper Rush? I’m not making stories up or misleading anybody. Cooper Rush has a better win loss ratio THIS SEASON! How on earth does this happen!?!? He makes 60 million a year and has been outperformed by Rush. It doesn’t matter how this season ends anymore. The worst Cooper Rush can finish is 4-5. Advantage Rush.

Yes, we are all very aware that Dak is not worth $60 mill a year, I was one of the more vocal posters about not resigning Dak at that level.

But what is done is done, Dak is going to be our starting quarterback for several more seasons, nothing is going to change that.

The Saints cooking everyone? It was literally the second week of the season. They blew out CAR the week before. They went on a massive losing streak after Dallas.

You can tell the Dak crowd is in panic mode when their go to mantra is. "You can't blame Dak, he was stuck playing with the starters the first half of the season. Rush is being carried by the 2nd and 3rd stringers"
