Cooper Rush is 4-3 with the same team Dak was 3-5 with

This is where you belong and trust me you will find peace and understanding to your heart's content!!!

It would take two of you to post anything dumber.

I love these posts.

You can tell the Dak crowd is in panic mode when their go to mantra is. "You can't blame Dak, he was stuck playing with the starters the first half of the season. Rush is being carried by the 2nd and 3rd stringers"

This must be a huge internet victory for you.

They have reached new LOW levels of man-idol existence here in the good old CZ.
The church of Dak is in panic mode believers are now few and he's one more injury away from the NFL abyss.
I live for the kick-off of 2025 when it will bring Dak to new lower levels of fan disgust with him!!

Now how does this play out against Philadelphia?

Dowdle is closing in on 1,000 yards, and honestly should be a lot closer, but last week was an outlier.

He is averaging nearly 5 yards a carry and is sitting at 903 yards. Tony Pollard barely hit 1K last season, and he was the featured back all season. Rico would already have it if he was used like him to start the year.

Rico Dowdle the last 3 Weeks:

• 392 Rushing Yards (1st among RBs)
• 283 Yards After Contact (1st among RBs)
• 14 Rushes of 10+ Yards (1st among RBs)
• 18 Rushes for First Down (2nd among RBs)
• 16 Missed Tackles Forced (1st among RBs)

Oh yea, there's this thing called age and it sucks...

Actually, Dak got to play with most of the starters while Rush has been stuck with backups, 3rd stringers, and practice squad guys.

And has a winning record......
Would be better if not for the special teams blunder against Cincy.

You look foolish using record as a stat to try and prove a point.
I try to be fair about your statement concerning level of competition & I could say there are truths to both sides but they post the record of our opponents and you say that's foolish. What?

It literally is the essence of the discussion.

Can we compare strength of schedule in the games Dak started vs Rush? Lol... Look we all know Dak was having a poor season, as was the entire Cowboy team. Rush started having more success when the D wasn't total Swiss cheese and they found a run game. Dak hasn't played up to his contract no one can argue that, but claiming 1 player is better than the other based on a partial season record feels a bit off.
What about the other season Rush played? Just some random fluke that whenever he is called upon a lot of things seem to be better than they were?

I think most people are saying that both have their strengths & weaknesses but Rush seems to allow the team to function better.

I know what the Dak lovers will say. The injuries when Dak was playing is why!! I don’t give a damn about the injuries. Every NFL team has injuries. The brutal truth is that Cooper Rush is 4-3 with the same 2024 team that Dak was 3-5 with. Even if you don’t think Cooper is better than Dak, convince me how Dak is 58 million dollars better than Cooper Rush? I’m not making stories up or misleading anybody. Cooper Rush has a better win loss ratio THIS SEASON! How on earth does this happen!?!? He makes 60 million a year and has been outperformed by Rush. It doesn’t matter how this season ends anymore. The worst Cooper Rush can finish is 4-5. Advantage Rush.
You don’t have to be a Dak lover to know Rush sucks. Guy is not a starting QB in the NFL. Not close. Dak isn’t the answer either but no fan should pine for Rush being the Cowboys starter.

Ok, so you said that you believe that you can evaluate NFL quarterback talent better than NFL GMs, coaches and offensive coordinators......

(can you please send me the address of that dispensary you shop at)

While you do that.... can you explain why Rush, whom you believe is better than a perennial top 10 quarterback who became All Pro and MVP candidate, hasn't gotten a starting job elsewhere in 8 whole years?

People see what they want to see.

Ok, I'll play along.!!

The most important NFL game in the world is the Superbowl, correct?

So according to your logic, Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles were better quarterbacks than Dan Marino and Jim Kelly in the biggest moments when it REALLY counted because Foles and Dilfer won a Superbowl and Kelly and Marino couldn't?

Think about it... Kelly had four tries at trying to win a Superbowl and failed. But good ol' Trent Dilpher and Nick Foles won a Superbowl in ONE try.

So the way you judge wins and losses for a quarterback without factoring in ANYTHING else in a TEAM game..... Dilfer and Foles should be held in higher regards and respect than Marino and especially Jim Kelly, correct?

Has literally nothing to do with what I said.

Because the NFL "talent" evaluators are enamored with strong arm quarterbacks who can throw seventy yards.
That's how ignorant they have become.
What good is throwing the ball seventy yards when you can't hit a target fifteen yards away when the pressure is on?
How often does a quarterback actually throw the ball over 40 yards?

I think it comes down to genetics.
Cooper's brain can process information quicker than Dak's.
Cooper throws before the receiver is open whereas Dak has to see the receiver open before letting go of the ball. By that time, the pass is late, or behind the receiver.
I think there was a stat that showed Dak threw more passes into tighter windows, Yea, because by ther time the ball arrives, so has the defender.

Much variation in the offensive line has made this difference.
