In the end all this talk is purely academic though. Unfortunately we have a plat guarantee on this game, so a loss is inevitable.
It will change if we start off slow and the defense sucks. Which hasn’t happened since week 1. If we get down 14 then yeah do whatever it takes to win.I said he's capable. Not that he would.
And I agree about the game plan, generally. But for some reason I can see this gameplan changing a bit.
Not sure why. But I see Rush passing for a bit more than previous games, this game.
Today is the day the bombs come out. 400 yards baby!!!!!!Cooper Rush, with our receivers, couldn’t get 400 yards vs Alabama.
Let’s see him break the 240 mark first. 223 and 215 vs Washington and NYGiants, so 400 vs the Rams is a bet I’ll take all day long. Ramsey will eliminate either Ceedee or the other side allowing them to bracket Ceedee. This is going to be kept close by the defense only if the offense doesn’t turn the ball over. Trying to pass enough to even approach 300 yards is a recipe for disaster.
They've been gashed by everyone running so far.I do agree but might add the Cowboy must shut the run down first. They have been gashed by the Rams run game.
Any given Sunday....anyone is capable. Even Jason Garrett had a 300 plus game at one time leading the team in a high scoring game. Gosh, Quincy Carter led the team to playoffs. Some of you will say it can't be done. Some of you will make it about some sort of paradigm. But we can only play one game at a time with one QB at a time. And that game is this Sunday, it's Cooper Rush against the Rams.
Make no mistake. The Rams will be looking to stop the run, early and often. And Rush will have to pass it.
The knock on Rush is he may throw an INT or two, if we're talking about his college tape. But he hasn't done much of that in the NFL. Instead, he's usually pretty good about not turning the ball over.
On top of that, though, I'd argue that Moore hasn't really opened up the offense too much in the past few games, and he may need to throttle the offense up just a tad if we're going to beat the Rams.
If there's any game to let Cooper Rush sling it around, it'll be this game. And I can see him surprising the nation and hanging 400 yards on the Rams this Sunday.
Exactly, give me the 250 yards balance game. The sad reality is that Cooper Rush will get the same result that #4 would get.
I think Gallup will be more involved in his second game back.
Now they already know Cooper likes Noah... so they have to watch him.
The rams defense won't be able to focus so much on a specific receiver.
All 3 have been playmakers now...
Just win
If Rush is capable of a 400 yard game it ain’t happening against the Rams.
