I wish him nothing but the best. We have a defense that can win ball games. I’m actually thinking its more of the playcalling than Prescott . But they go hand-in-hand
sorry, I mean what i said wish him the best he will be here by the rams game and back as our leader and if you dot support him you so not support our team..

I definitely support him maybe you’re misunderstanding me. I just don’t have a problem if he’s not behind center. Someday

Cooper Rush, it is the way.

I'm glad to see a lot of people with positive things to say about Coop. When I posted about him here previously, it's been quite some time, there was absolutely zero love for Cooper and I was run off the forums.

As a friend of Cooper Rush, I can say he is humbled and appreciates the support of Cowboy Nation more than anything else right now.

He's working hard for his teammates and each and every fan.

He reminds me a lot of Romo, in that he is cool, confident, collected, not too arrogant.

I for one will always, from now on, appreciate that about him. I once criticized Cooper Rush. But never again. He's got some game, and I appreciate his approach and helping us stay alive this year.

I appreciate Rush but we NEED DAK !!
.
DAK haters need to step aside.im looking forward to our actual starting QB to be back and this team getting all our pieces together and going on a run..

IM a cowboyy fan not single player fan..wear the statrt get my support until you lose my rerspect,

this isnt Rush vs Dak
Gallup vs Cooper
Zeke vs pollard
Wilson vs Kearse
Peters vs Tyler smith
LVE vs anyone LOL

so sick of these fans pitting other fans against players they decide are good or bad..I support the Cowboys!!

etc etc etc

Yes they are all Dallas Cowboys and All needed to make run. every one of those 53 plus the OS will be needed throughout a 17 game season and all are appreciated by me when they make even one play. the cherry picking , nitpicking threads showing a bad play here or there to push fans narrative is insane.
you will not Divide me, i am supporting them ALL..
Until they leave, talk smack and lose my support ie burn bridges ie Beasly..been many you are not the enemy!

Make no mistake, if Dak comes back and loses he's got a game and a half to get his **** together. Or it's Cooper Rush.

Rush gonna be in a world of pressure Monday nite. Interesting game coming up, especially w/ all the ridiculous bragging about how Rush is 2-0.

What I like about Rush is his topflight noggin for the game. Dude just knows. Man, if only he had just a decent arm, he could be a decent starter.

This is the most important thing for any quarterback. You have to have the right head for it. And that's what I really like about him. It took me a long time to notice it. But he put me on notice this year. I was a huge critic of Rush, and now I'm a huge fan.

I get a laugh out of your Dak hating deranged posts.

Cooper Rush has improved with time and has become a good backup QB, but that is his ceiling. By far, Dak is the better QB.

With Cooper Rush's head for the game, I really believe anything is possible from here on out. He has really surprised me with his situational awareness and understanding of the game. He has amazing focus. I for one am thankful for him being such a student and so smart. I hadn't realized his IQ was so high. But now I'm a huge fan.

You have no clue what you’re talking about. I definitely think we have to move on from Prescott. The problem is finding somebody. It is definitely not Cooper Rush
There are no definitive answers other than start drafting QBs until you find one with Herbert/ Allen type talent and some brains to go with it. Jerry is too dam cheap to trade up to the top of the first round to get himself a real stud.

I think that Cooper will have a significant NFL run and then he'll transition to coaching and we'll see him as an Offensive Coordinator and Head Coach in the NFL by his late 30s or early 40s.

I don't know how many have seen this, I'm guessing not too many, but here is Cooper Rush leading our school (Central Michigan University) to a last second come from behind win over Oklahoma State in 2016.

Mike Gundy is still salty about this play and still complains about it to this day.

Tempting, but I can't. Breaking someone's trust is like breaking a mirror. You can fix it, but there will always be cracks.
Would never want you to break trust with anyone.
But if there is anything that you can share that would be appropiate either now or later it would be welcome.
Thanks for the reply.

NOPE,

You trying to tell me if that Prescott comes back and plays two better teams & clearly better teams,

not the easier llessor team we just faced with Rush and for whatever reason the running backs fumble, the o- line once again has 10 penalties, the defense gets ran on once again, gives up 28 points and Maher misses a couple field goals, and we lose those games it’s gonna be all on Prescott?

Because this is what happens in the bigger games Kellen Moore calls a terrible game, he gets pass happy, other players make big mistakes, we don’t get the same support from the rest of the team and we lose and then all of a sudden, it’s Prescott‘s fault?? lmao

It’s clearly, very obvious in these games with all these penalties the defense can’t stop the run, field goals are being missed, play calls are terrible, and we lose to these better teams we blame the quarterback Dak Prescott.....

also, when he’s given the same support against the Giants, I guarantee the Bengals the Commanders and the Eagles look at the last three years we’ve absolutely destroyed them we didn’t need late field goals, we didn’t need special teams giving us an extra plays to put us in position for a field goal, we literally with Dak Prescott, leads the Cowboys to a 2 to 3 digit lead when he gets support...

These big games against better competition that Daks lost over the last six or seven games go look back at all the penalties, all the misscues, all the drop passes, the missed field goals and missed extra points, the bad play calling, the defense can’t stop the run, blah blah blah there’s actual real evidence it was not that Prescott..

Then I have to sit here and listen to idiots say what they saw was that Prescott lost the game or Dak Prescott beat up on lesser competition so it doesn’t count but when rush squeaks by on a little two-game win streak barely beating these jags, he’s getting commended for it...

That’s a very definition of a troll hater

that’s why you get called a hater, you get called a blind troll ,because you allow that to always be the reason we lost and never the reason we win but now Rush all of a sudden is getting all the credit for these barely squeaked out wins by the teams Dak beat up.

Rush fans signing up and coming our of the woodwork, cmu fans blowing uip the internet LOL

where were you guys when Rush was being cut, constantly put on the PS, even exposed this year to the PS TWICE, not one team looked his way and all our fans wanted Rush gone. they pleaded for Gilbert, Grier, or trade called Rush a jag even 3 weeks ago..said our coach and Owner were ignorant for keeping him over ANYONE

now 6 years in the league he will make run?

It great, hes become viable backup and thats his ceiling..im happy we in fact have a solid dependable backup that can win a game but like many that came before him, all around the Legue that have similar sample sizes win some games, team go grab them, make them starters and most just fail as a starter. similar to the Ast ie DC or OC that become HCs and fail. Sometimes you need to know your limitations and just be happy you have role on the team...

Rush is not fulltime starter and bTW in the very video the announcer acknowledged that Rush had weak arm and COULDNT get that far enough. you are telling me thats a great play by the QB or was it a radicicolous play by the WR and badly executed defense..

come on man stop , i know the answer, we are proud of our Backups newfound fame but hes not a starter.

I liked what I saw from him as a rookie and thought then that he had a future as a backup QB in the league. Did not like what I saw from him this preseason, though. Glad I was wrong about moving on from him.

I've been fairly apathetic when it comes to Dak. He's had his good. He's had his bad. With all that said, I'm finding myself more and more wanting to jump on the Coop train. Something about him running the offense feels cool, calm, and collected. Maybe it's just the curiousty in me wondering how he could develop as the season wears on, but we are in year 7 with Dak and it feels like the same song and dance.

Once Dak is back ALL these short love affairs with Rush threads will be burried. Oh wait, they may just be burried when he loses his first game, which he will. My gosh two wins & this board wants Rush for President. :lmao:

Some this is why I'd go with Rush until he loses. The Giants and Commanders are easier opponents, so we might be 3-0 with him when we play the Rams, who are clearly one of the tougher teams on our schedule. We're 0-1 with Dak, so if we take out a 3-0 Rush and then lose, it's understandable for fans to be upset with that, even if Dak isn't the reason we lose.

If we fall to the Commanders, it gets much easier to transition to Dak, If we beat the Commanders, then it puts a lot of pressure on Prescott to keep it going against a tougher foe. Give Rush through the Rams game to get it done. If we lose to the Rams as expected, then Dak takes back over for Philly. If we beat the Rams, then I think Rush has earned the chance to keep this streak going until he fails.
