Just watching casually it seems liek Dak timing is really off, very rarely jsut drops back and takes what the defense gave him. Everything is a struggle,

Dak throws terrible safety outlet check down throws. They’re constantly inaccurate leading to the receiver taking a hit or a loss.

Last night I saw Lamar hit this little checkdown for only 3 yards, but jsut the velocity and arm angle he did it I was thinking Dak could never. He jsut doesn’t have that flexibility. His bag is limited

Cheaper is better than Dak, because Dak ins't 57 million dollars better than Rush. He's not even 10 million dollars better than Rush.

You anti dak crew have just lost it. Daks here because Jerry is a dumbarse but that doesn’t make noodle arm any better

A majority of the fan base wants the Cowboys to play the QB that gives them the best chance of losing to gain a high draft pick. That’s part of the appeal some fans have with Rush and why many would rather see Trey Lance. Lol

So if 32 teams had to pick between Cooper Rush and Dak do you really believe they would pick Rush over Dak?
Another question I continue to ask is would Cooper Rush get any offers from other teams to be their starter. Because he beat the Commanders and most likely will beat the Giants we well.

He’s a free agent in 106 days. He’s gets to find out what his value, by NFL standards, really is. My guess is he signs for the vet minimum with the Dallas Cowboys for 2025.

They wouldn’t be sick enough to want Cooper Rush instead. Lol Only this fan base would be stupid enough to want to sink to that level.

Dak has been photoshopped by other NFL fanbases in their team's uniforms and fans of other teams have talked about what it would be like if Dak hit the free market and signed to their team. Don't recall any fanbase doing this with Cooper Rush. Dak isn't elite and may not ever be the QB to win the Cowboys a Super Bowl. But only the Anti-Dak crowd would believe in Cooper Rush being better than Dak. Or there not being a gap between Dak and Cooper Rush QB talent and skill wise.

Some keep on mentioning Dak's contract. But does anyone believe an NFL GM would decide to choose Cooper Rush over Dak just because of Cooper Rush being cheaper. And that there wouldn't have been a team willing to pay Dak a high contract if he had hit the free market? If Cooper Rush is such a above serviceable and above average QB at a cheaper price, then the logic would say that he should eventually get offers from other NFL teams for the QB some are making him out to be.

Dak Supporters get accused of hating on Cooper Rush on this forum, yet this is the very same forum who have had fans say that Dak would be out of the NFL if he weren't a Cowboy.

If any fan honestly believes Cooper Rush is better than Dak they need to have their head examined. Most of the fans claiming Rush is better and the team looks better with him are Dak haters.

Only you would believe that the fanbases who are looking for QBs for their team would choose Cooper Rush over Dak.
He believes KC won the SB because of Taylor Swift and he actually posted that,

So basically Cooper Rush makes the team better because the Commanders botched a PAT that would have sent the game into overtime and the special teams got two kick return touchdowns in the same quarter? Is this the gist of the thread?

The Cowboys scored 34 points, but the offense had just two touchdowns.

Rush had a nice game. He made some timely throws and made no mistakes, which is what the backup QB is supposed to do.

In no way does he make this team better. Maybe the playcalling by MM helped too. But any fan that wants to convince themselves Rush is a better QB than Dak either doesn't know football or just hates Dak so much they will talk themselves into believing anybody BUT Dak is a better option.

Pretty clear to see.

There are no Dak haters.
There ARE fans who hate what Dak being the starter has cost the Cowboys.
But there are also Dak lovers who don't care what he cost the Cowboys, but only care about Dak. This group hates everyone but Dak and other Dak lovers-and they are desperate to discredit any quarterback who outplays him and anyone who loves the Cowboys and recognizes how bad Dak is.
Fortunately, Dak is on the sidelines for the rest of the season. He's destroyed the Cowboys future, but the fans get one last chance to see the team operate with a real quarterback under center.

Except you conveniently leave out that Rush drove the Cowboys the length of the field for two field goals early that were missed, and because of Rush the Cowboys dominated time of possession, allowing the Cowboys defense to rest and letting them play better.

If the quarterback that wears number 4 did the same, you would be on here lamenting how overpaid he is not to finish those drives with a touchdown.

Rush fails the same, yet he "makes the team better".

No, Dak can't sustain drives to give the defense a chance to rest. Cooper Rush moves the offense even when they don't always score.
If Dak had been playing the Commanders would likely have been up by twenty early and everyone would blame the running game. That's his method of operating; choke, and let the media blame everyone else.

2-11 on third-down conversions. Rush has the mental aspect down (which I think is a huge aspect of the QB position) - but he lacks the physical tools to make a meaningful run. And then there’s the issue of his age. He’s about as good as he will ever be. A solid backup.

Look at the post above. 2 of 11 on third down Sunday at Washington. You claim Dak can't sustain drives like Rush?

Outside of this season, with a young/banged up line and poor running back/receiver play, the Dak Prescott-led offense has ranked at or near the top in every meaningful statistical category over the past several years. Pulling false logic out of the air just because you don't like Dak doesn't make it true.

Rush is not the answer. Unless the question is "who is a solid backup QB"?
