Dak is exactly what Diggs said he was in camp. Rush is very limited but at least he isn't that
Neither is Dak, unless the question is "Who finished off the Dallas Cowboys?"Look at the post above. 2 of 11 on third down Sunday at Washington. You claim Dak can't sustain drives like Rush?
Outside of this season, with a young/banged up line and poor running back/receiver play, the Dak Prescott-led offense has ranked at or near the top in every meaningful statistical category over the past several years. Pulling false logic out of the air just because you don't like Dak doesn't make it true.
Rush is not the answer. Unless the question is "who is a solid backup QB"?
The emergence and decision to make Rico RB-1 may had a lot to do with Cooper's better performance Sunday.
Just watching seems liek Dak timing is really off, very rarely jsut drops back and takes what the defense gave him. Everything is a struggle,
Dak throws terrible safety outlet check down throws. They’re constantly inaccurate leading to the receiver taking a hit or a loss.
Last night I saw Lamar hit this little checkdown for only 3 yards, but jsut the velocity and arm angle he did it I was thinking Dak could never. He jsut doesn’t have that flexibility. His bag is limited
Tanking would have been so sweet IF the FO hadn't built the 60 Million Dollar Man.....does it really matter if we pick at 7 or 17?Beat the NYG Thursday and the tankers will be mad, the Dak fans will have excuses, and Rush fans will be out in full force.
Yeah this could be fun.
What do you meanThe last time we went down this road coaches took a couple weeks and figured out what Rush could and couldn't do. It was tough sledding for the offense after that and they almost immediately started putting up points with Dak.
I'm hoping it doesn't go the same way this year. Much as tanking sounds like the best thing for the team, I do enjoy winning.
Where were Donald and jones draftedTanking would have been so sweet IF the FO hadn't built the 60 Million Dollar Man.....does it really matter if we pick at 7 or 17?
If there was an Aaron Donald or Chris Jones in the upcoming draft it would be a different story
Not sure, but if there was a can't miss DT available this would have applied.....Where were Donald and jones drafted
Lol lol lol aww thanks sir lol lolPost of the day!!!
Man go to sleep early tonight pleaseCooper Rush is a lot better than Dak.
I left the forum, and had no intention of coming back.
But the record needs to be set straight:
Against the Commanders, Rush drove the Cowboys to what should have been six points early from field goals, with Aubrey missing one, while the other was blocked. The Cowboys should have had six more points, making all of the drama at the end unnecessary.
The Cowboys dominated time of possession by eight minutes. This allowed the defense to play better, not being worn out.
Rush moved the ball even when the Cowboys didn't score, letting the Cowboys defense rest.
Rush gave the team the leadership it had been missing. Even vs the Texans he played well. And he is coming in cold, just getting a chance.
The game vs the Eagles is on McCarthy; he restricted the offense, being too tentative to allow Rush to exploit the Eagles defense.
And for the Dak lovers to be trolling and knocking the guy who has breathed life into the Cowboys offense shows they only care about propping up Dak.
The Cowboys can play as a team because they finally have a quarterback. It's not a coincidence that the defense plays better when Rush is in the game. He doesn't go three and out on every series and he lets the defense rest.
It’s not a coincidence that the run game is better because Rush is a threat the defense must account for in the passing game.
Is Rush the answer? I don't know. But he IS better than Dak.
But it is clear that Jerry Jones has wasted the last eight years with Dak, and now the next four.
Dak Prescott IS NOT an elite QB.
Rush, however, has repeatedly proven he is a capable quarterback.
A strong arm is useless if you don't know how to use it. Dak has proved that.
Rush uses his abilities to lead the Cowboys offense.
Do you believe Dak was starting over Rush at Jerry’s behest? I’m having difficulty accepting that Mike McCarthy, at this particular time in his head coaching career, would not put his team in the best situation to win. If he’s kept Rush on the bench, despite Rush being a guy that makes the team better than if Dak is at quarterback, he would never be considered for a coaching job, at any level, for the rest of his life. I feel you’re accusing McCarthy of something so egregious it would trigger McCarthy and every member of his coaching staff to be permanently banned from any association with the NFL in any capacity.Except you conveniently leave out that Rush drove the Cowboys the length of the field for two field goals early that were missed, and because of Rush the Cowboys dominated time of possession, allowing the Cowboys defense to rest and letting them play better.
Mike McCarthy took the job already saddled with Prescott.Do you believe Dak was starting over Rush at Jerry’s behest?
