Dak...is 0-2 in win or go home games.

He’s only been our starter for two seasons and has put us in position both seasons. Had Zeke not been suspended for six games we likely would’ve made the playoffs this season.

Possibly but he’s 0-2 in win or go home games with Zeke

I hope he plays well. He’s a very smart kid and he seems to have some really good tools to work with.

Not having Zeke for six games put us in that position of having to win out with several games left. Go add up the number of second year QBs who’ve put their teams in position to make the playoffs their first two seasons.

True but he still lost the two win or go home games. The Dak project may turn into a nightmare.

I like the Cooper hype train. It's cute and it also gives fans something to rally around in difficult times.

There's absolutely no reason for playing Dak in this game. Save your QB1 so he goes into the off-season without major injury.

He didn’t lose them the team lost them. Everyone contributed to those losses. He brought us back from a huge deficit against Green Bay in the playoffs last season. It certainly wasn’t his fault we lost that game. Some already think the Dak project has been a nightmare. This Fanbase is ridiculous. It’s obvious you’re not happy with him.

Our coaches wouldn't let Romo play because it would hurt Dak's feelings.. I doubt he will let Rush play for the same reason. Dak knows he has our coaches (and some fans still amazingly) hoodwinked.. doesn't want to give that up.

We are stuck with Dak until injury and/or Jerry dies. That is our reality.

Not sitting Dak for Romo had more to with the fact that we were on a winning streak with Dak last season.

Rush looked ok in some preseason games and people expect him to be good?

Did you guys forget daks preseason? He was amazing. Talk about delusional fans.
I think he showed enough to keep working on developing him but he’s not ready by a long shot just like Tony wasn’t ready early on but showed some skill

I also don’t want any Cowboy to fail, but with Garrett it is inevitable. Garrett is the main problem with this team!!

Don't want the Cowboys to fail either, which is why I wonder why some are still upset about the decision to to bench Dak for Romo. Since at the time it was believed to be better for the flow that the team was on at the time with the winning streak.

I don’t like the overthrows on simple outs and ins. He lacks accuracy, he lacks arm strength to fit it in tight places, he shows very little awareness to pocket pressure, doesn’t step up. I’m concerned with what I see. I believe he’s a bootleg, read option QB with a good head on his shoulders, that’s about it.

Get real! Romo was stuck on the bench last year because Dak was playing lights out and the team was in the middle of a franchise record 11 game winning streak. No team in their right mind would’ve benched any QB in that situation. Dak and the team were red hot and we were going with the hot hand just like any smart team would’ve done. Romo wasn’t ready to play until around mid season and his game would’ve been rusty.

If the team cared about anyone’s feelings they would’ve put Romo back in. He’s been the teams QB for a decade and has been a class act. We didn’t make a big investment in Dak he was a 4th round pick. The NFL isn’t about anyone’s feelings it’s about winning. Drew Bledsoe stayed on the sidelines despite signing one of the richest contracts in league history a few months earlier and was traded the following year because the Pats were winning with Brady. Some of the comments here are beyond ridiculous.

All Dak had to do last year was drive the bus.. first bit of adversity.. he crashed it, Brady didn’t and Romo carried the team for years with a terrible o-line and defense.

Dak is a young QB who’s still developing and is a long way from reaching his ceiling. He’s made some excellent throws on the run in awkward positions that shows he has an NFL arm. He’s made some great plays under pressure. The only thing that concerns me with what I see is the team around him and the coaching. The pass protection was awful this season. During the first seven games Dak had 14 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs and was on pace for a 4000 yard season.

In my opinion he was playing better than last season. He had 3 games with passer ratings well over 100.0 and he had three straight games with three TD passes. We were rolling until Zeke was suspended. The second half of the season for him wasn’t very good and that’s because the team wasn’t very good. Too many issues with the OL and receivers plus our running game wasn’t consistent. Not having a game changer in the backfield hurt us and put too many games on Dak’s shoulders.
