All Dak had to do last year was drive the bus.. first bit of adversity.. he crashed it, Brady didn’t and Romo carried the team for years with a terrible o-line and defense.

He did a hell of a lot more than drive the bus go back and watch the Green Bay and the Steelers game from last year. Go back last year and watch the first Philly game where he made a couple of big touchdown throws to help pull that game out. He didn’t play well for most of the game but when the game was on the line he played his best football. You don’t like him we get it! I do like him and think he’s going to be a terrific QB if we put a solid team around him.

Dak is a young QB who’s still developing and is a long way from reaching his ceiling. He’s made some excellent throws on the run in awkward positions that shows he has an NFL arm. He’s made some great plays under pressure. The only thing that concerns me with what I see is the team around him and the coaching. The pass protection was awful this season. During the first seven games Dak had 14 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs and was on pace for a 4000 yard season.

In my opinion he was playing better than last season. He had 3 games with passer ratings well over 100.0 and he had three straight games with three TD passes. We were rolling until Zeke was suspended. The second half of the season for him wasn’t very good and that’s because the team wasn’t very good. Too many issues with the OL and receivers plus our running game wasn’t consistent. Not having a game changer in the backfield hurt us and put too many games on Dak’s shoulders.

I’ll agree with the same bad coaching. Alfred Morris did just fine for a backup. Tyron smith being out hurt. Bottom line, he’s not passing the eye test unless he rolling out or playing the read option.

Morris did okay but he doesn’t scare anyone. He’s not a game changer. Dak may not pass the eye test for you but he passes it for me.

What 2 'win and go home' games did Dak lose? Did the 'romo project' blow up in our face when we went 8 and 8 3 years in a row and lost games critical to us getting in the playoffs?

Where has Washington gotten with him? He’s never led the Commanders to the playoffs. They keep franchising him because they’re not sure about him. Dak has the potential to be a great NFL QB. Cousins is a good QB but it took 4 seasons for him to become good. At 29 he’s probably reached his ceiling. We were able to beat him twice this season in blowouts.

That's all true, but I really don't judge my qbs based on their divisional titles.
Rg3 led the Commanders to a division title and Cousins has led them to none, but yet RG3 is no longer in the NFL and cousins is getting franchised every year and is a coveted free agent. Pretty much everyone agrees that rg3 is trash compared to cousins. I like to judge my qbs on Super Bowl wins. Those are the things that matter the most and can get a qb into the hall of fame. Eli will make it because of the two Superbowls whereas Romo will not - now I love Romo but that a huge factor on how qbs are judged and remembered.

Led them to the 2015 divisional title. He has the same record and amount of appearances as dak.

You’ve posted nothing but criticism’s of Dak from his arm to his accuracy, then went on to say he doesn’t pass your eye test. You then said you liked him. You’re not making any sense.

At this point nobody has a clue what he is. To think either way is ridiculous.

I hope Dak plays great and if Rush gets any playing time, I hope he plays well too. I would like the idea of knowing we have two good quarterbacks on the roster.

That said, I also believe that all positions should be up for grabs every training camp. Not because I am down on any player, but rather I believe that competition pushes people to improve and play better.

Low and behold, the owner of the site has sense. Everyone pay close attention. Each QB deserves at minimum 3 years no matter what we think of him. But, competition is a great thing, especially when you're trying to discover your future QB, and I believe we need a top rated QB to go along with Dak. Let these guys go head to head, toe to toe. That's what football's all about.

He complained about his accuracy, arm strength and numerous other things, then went on to say Dak didn’t pass his eye test. He then did an about face and said he liked Dak. I guess he meant he liked him as a person because he certainly doesn’t like him as a QB.
