Cooper Rush wasn't bad

Dak's had 6 years to prove he belongs; he hasn't.
Rush has had 5 games.
We KNOW Dak isn't the answer. Going back to him is a mistake. Rush has played better.
Even if you figure he had a bad game, he has brought more leadership and skill to the Cowboys in five games than Dak has in six years.
So even if Rush isn't the answer, we already KNOW Dak isn't.

You're right, Rush wasn't bad, he was putrid.

Other than late, throwing into double coverage and looking lost, in the first half, he was great.

Props to him for holding it together and improving in the second half. Some guys would melt down.
^^this^^. Time to hand the reigns back 2 Dak this week. Rush ran his course well.

I first thought Cooper Rush had a bad game, but upon closer examination, he held up pretty well. He was accurate and effective vs the Eagles.
His receivers, not so much. Two of Rush’s interceptions were accurately thrown passes in which the receivers had position, but allowed the defenders to swat them out of the way to make a play on the ball. This can't happen in the NFL.
The Cowboys sold the farm to pay an overpriced, inept quarterback a huge salary, and the result is having receivers who are not number 1 caliber.
I hate to say it, but Cee Dee Lamb isn't great. Noah Brown is as close to being a number one as the Cowboys have. CeeDee just doesn't have the physique to hold up in physical games. The Eagles got physical with the Cowboys receivers and won the battles one on one too often.
Add to this missed calls by the refs, and Rush held up better than first thought.
Rush’s third interception was due to him being hit. It would probably have been a touchdown, otherwise.
Hate on him if you like, but this season still has a ways to go. Dak isn't as accurate as Rush, and if last night is any clue, the receivers aren't going to be much help.
Enough already with your garbage. You were and still are wrong. Accept it and move on.

Some people hate Dak so much they will talk themselves into anything in the hopes they will someday be proven "right".

I'm just interested in winning games. Dak gives the Cowboys the best chance to do so right now. Rush does not. I said even before last night's game that what Dallas did for the previous four weeks was not sustainable. Can't rely on giving up just one touchdown per game forever.

Those "accurate" throws took too long to reach the receivers, giving the DBs time to get to them. Rush's arm is too weak.

If this had been Dak's performance, you would have raked him over the coals.
It was bad play designs for that game, and rush did stare down who he was gonna throw to, and that comes back to how he is coached.

Phil has one of the best secondarys, and good pass rush. Rush isnt the only qb that they will get int's off of including dak later on.
The dallas wr's also played poorly, and noah who is probably the best one right now only had 3 targets.
All the targets went to lamb and gallup.

Rush killed us the entire first half. One of the kids in the Shriners commercials could’ve QB’d better.

TBH, I'd rather see him get sacked than throw an interception. On one of those interceptions last night, needing about 10 yards or so on third down, IIRC), before the snap I looked at my buddy and said, "Now watch Rush keep it and run for 3 yards." After he threw it i said, "I wish he'd kept it and run for 3 yards."
Me too

Our Defense beat those teams don't act like Rush has been balling out lol dude was 10/16 for 102 yards no TDs and we beat the Rams lol but give him the credit get out of here with that
Dude stop it Mr. Football guru. Rush has played good but then again you are Daks all carrier, aren't ya? LMAO

I just love the football expert gurus trying to elevate themselves on a public/private forum so adamant on how they understand the game better than anyone . They should have been hired by the Cowboys :lmao::lmao:

OP shouldn't be taken seriously. He said just yesterday that he won't cheer/hope for Dak to be successful.

I find him hard to like. What exactly did say? I like to rank the worst to best of the Dak hate group. @PAPPYDOG is the best. He’s, at least, likable.

He wasn’t bad he was terrible except for the third quarter.

The only thing worse about a team with an average overpaid starter and a below average backup is fans arguing over either one of them

I can’t imagine another season with the status quo at the Qb position………
