If Donald is not there I'd go after Tim Jernigan from Florida. He fits with our system here as well and is just as disruptive.

It is a possibility that Dallas may not like Jernigan. Scouting reports are all over the place on him. IMO , reaching will ruin a draft quicker than anything. Look back at the Pitman and (sp?)Ekuban picks from years back. How did those picks work out?

I know I don't care for him at all. If Marinelli demands "rushmen", well, I do not see it with that player.

I don't think Marinelli will like him. He doesn't seem like the type of DL that Marinelli has used in the past. A "rushman" may not be available in the first round. I really don't want to see a DL drafted in the first if he is not a scheme fit and does not offer value with the pick. The ideal of drafting a DL only in the first round increases the bust potential too much IMO. There is no need to reach.

have you ever seen such a mediocre team have to try so hard to get under the cap? I haven't.

Many hours, alotta money and effort has been used to be mediocre.

Like it or not we are in a three year rebuild. There is no panic button, if the draft is loaded with OL draft them and fix that area. There will be lots of time to fix the DL, which is a easier fix than OL. I just hope we make solid choices.

No, they are in a three year rebuild that is going take four years or more. It is far from complete and I agree that there is no need for reaching or passing on quality talent.

If they were in a rebuild they would not have thrown down so much guaranteed money at Romo. This is a win-now team that was just assembled poorly with eye-popping bad contracts left and right.

Read some recent calculations that state Dallas is now $329,312 under the cap.

Oh boy, I wonder who we can get with that. This is so exciting!

Well they can still redo Witten contract if they need immediate space prior to doing something with Ware's.

Those recent calcs were likely old. Estimates I've seen have us toughly $2m under after yesterday's moves.
