It is a possibility that Dallas may not like Jernigan. Scouting reports are all over the place on him. IMO , reaching will ruin a draft quicker than anything. Look back at the Pitman and (sp?)Ekuban picks from years back. How did those picks work out?

Whats wrong with Jerrigan? Whats the skinny on him regarding the negatives? I would really like to know. Donald also may not pan out as well. Heck, I think going after Martin is just as risky since all I hear about his is that his good at pass protection. One thing for sure I don't think Jerrigan is a reach. He is a much safer pick than Nix thats for sure and a lot of people are saying were picking Nix. I disagree with the Nix pick and we should pick Jerrigan if his their. Heck, Im okay with picking Hagemann as well. So long its not OL and instead we pick Dline, I'll be fine with that.

No way we carry Ware at $12 million, even if we are under the cap.................we would have to be freaking stupid to do something like that.

Pay cut or release are the only options for Ware at this point.

I think he is he has good quickness for the 3 tech and is very athletic. I think he suffers occasionally from bad form and technique though and that could easily be fixed by Marinelli. I want the best for the team as well. Some of these guys say we should pick Nix. I say no. Donald and Jernigan are the prototypical Tackle that can fit our system. Not Nix.

If we don't go DefensiveTackle at least go with a DE thats a good pass rusher. Oline is a position I think is less of a need this year. Lets fix our main problems with this team first before going with someone for the sake of pass protecting Romo.

I agree with that. Take BPA at 16, DL, OL, Safety... Ought to be a high-value player there.

Well this is a deep defensive line class. This is the year which we could get at least 2 defensive linemen that can have an immediate impact and possibly a few more sign on as a UDFA. If the Cowboys want to BPA and pick a WR, TE or even an OL with their first pick I'll be disappointment. Then were back to square one where our defense gets shredded and were wondering why we didn't take care of Dline with a deep Dline draft to begin with.
