I hate how NY can luck into SB wins. I see them losing to CAR and MIN at the very least. Even PHI has their number. MIA game a toss up.

Lol, 2 SB wins is definitely not luck
As an organization/coaching staff/team, they have been better than the Cowboys the last 6-7 years
No amount of homerism can take away that fact

Nah man I'm not going to go full homer and say they are trash. They just went toe to toe with the Patriots. They don't have the players on defense, yet Spags has made a huge difference on their ability to get turnovers. They remind me of our defense last year - lots of turnovers, timely 3rd stops in games. Their oline is a lot better than it was the last 2 years. It's sickening to say but they are setup to make a run this year in a weak NFC.

They're not trash, just mediocre. They can lose a shootout with a weak Saints team or go toe-to-toe with the undefeated Patriots. They can dominate the 49ers and be dominated by the Eagles.

They might look like world-beaters against Washington or like a team that shouldn't even be contending for the East title.

I agree with REV. The NYG are playing better in every phase and it's gonna be hard to catch them. I thought in the offseason too that they were gonna surprise some people. Then they lost JPP, never got Cruz back and their OL still sucked, but the Green Bay offense they play covers all of that up.

They are awful on defense. The only reason they didn't lose to the Bucs is because Evans (and a couple other guys) dropped 20 passes right in their hands, many of them big gainers.

They made plays to win both games that if Romo made them, people would be losing their minds about what a great pass it was.

No people would be starting post on how it took miracles for us to win at all. Even when we win people complain.

It was my concern last year that they would get their act together this year.

This is what I see:

1. Coughlin getting a lot from his players. Especially defense.
2. Giants have had lead in final 2 minutes of what, 4 losses. These fudgers could be 9-1.
3. I really hate to think the Eli/Giants go for 3rd super bowl... Vs... Who else..... The ones they arevthevdaddy to... The pats.

I may have to move out of New York if gumby ends up with 3 super bowl wins.... 3 sb mvp's... And Romo never even gets to one title game.

I despise the man but he is one hell of a coach.

We now have Turbin, which rhymes with Bourbon when you say it fast. There has to be something to that.

Your posts over the years seem to say that you're a closet Giants fan

And yes, the comment before mine is correct. Dallas could actually be 9-1 too if we go by 4th quarter leads....and that was without our QB.
Shoulda-woulda.

Silly.

Very.

Silly. That's a very unintelligent post by you.

That was ages ago. The team doesn't even resemble that team anymore. That's why I'm saying nobody should be scared of this incarnation of the Giants running the table.

That's the thing. They didn't look like it then either.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Please at 8-4 after our loss to Philly and being one game back, with one game left against them people filled this forum with bash after bash calling for everyone's head and giving Philly the division.

When much of the fan base is suffering from battered wife syndrome for the last 20 years, that should not be shocking.

They're bad, but they're improving.

We can play "What If" all day. The only reason they didn't get a W against New England was a really terrible call.

Coughlin is a senile old joke of a man and his team was beaten 52-49 by the New Orleans Saints, who were beaten 47-14 by the Washington Commanders.

Which terrible call? If you mean the OBJ play, that was the correct call. Not even questionable IMO. But outside of that highlight, the only plays I saw were Brady's first INT, and the Pats final drive.

When I say "reloaded" I'm talking about new faces...new players. They have a bunch of new players on defense and they've revamped the oline. I doubt the talent level of a lot of these players, but the coaching is elite. Trust me if Garrett was going thru this type of transition of talent, we'd be hearing excuses of why we aren't competitive and how we have to have patience in the "process."

Garrett did reload this team. We went 8-8 and had a chance at playoffs all 3 years
