Doesn't bother me at all. Coughlin was one of the worst clock management coaches I saw this season. I respect what he's done but football has passed him by. If his clock management skills weren't so bad we'd probably have a top 3 pick lol.

Bring on Coughlin with the Shegals! He's a good coach, but nothing to be feared. We've got his Kryptonite in our own JG! Sick of ruing other teams' moves. Line up and beat your man, baby!

The problem he's going to have in Philly is he might have to start with a new QB. Bradford could be in Houston next year.

Great coach but probably at the end of the road. He'll be 70 before the season starts.

Not that he can't do it but very, very few can.

If the Cowboys were hiring would you want him? I would not. Because I wouldn't want to deal with the questions of whether he returns every year.

I respect him, but we have owned their club. We would probably have swept them with Romo this year. One could say that we would welcome him to overstay in NY because it was a good chance we would win the ball game. Again, I respect him, I don't want him in Philly, but it might not be a bad thing either.

I guess my respect for him and his ability is a bit higher than yours. I think the Giants did us a favor in letting Coughlin go and keep Jerry Reese. If anything, I think misfires in personnel have led to the Giants' recent struggles.

No way the Iggles hire grandpa Cough. He is a great coach but his career is in the rearview mirror. They will want someone young and innovative who can relate to today's NFL payer.

They just fired one of those................ didn't they?

He'd be a perfect coach here IMO. I'd take him in a heartbeat right now over Garrett and wouldn't even think twice about it.

We have probably a 2-3 year window where we can make a run with Romo which matches up with roughly how long Coughlin would stay.

I heard Mike Garafolo on the radio this morning and he said people close to Coughlin think he has 5 years left in him. He's very healthy for his age, works out almost every day at 5AM, etc.

Well, I guess I would too considering Jerry would have to go back to half-lunatic in order to get Coughlin here.

But if I'm the Eagles I would not hire him. I'd get somebody who could potentially build something over the long term. Coughlin's bones are like pretzels. Salt and sugar kicks his ***.

Strange fit imo. I may be in the minority, but I think Kelly eventually finds success in the NFL. Although his time in Philly with roster authority really wrecked that franchise. I expect they will need to bottom out. They have a very good defensive line but the rest of the roster is really hurting. Their previous two first round picks haven't looked very good either. I think that is a team that needs to break down the roster and look at 3 years out imo. I don't know if there are many rosters I like less than the current Eagles roster.

He wont take the job w/o an established QB - so that means Bradford would stay.

That's a win for the other 3 teams in the division. I dont believe Bradford is built to handle the Philly scrutiny as a starting QB that's paid good $$$ and expected to deliver.

Speaking for myself, I'm not sure who that "somebody" is at this point. I think Miami was smart to move quickly on Gase and now the rest look to be scrambling for scraps.

If your Cowboy fan you want Eagles to go with Coughlin. He is way old and coming off multiple losing season.

who cares, they do not have what it takes to win in the NFL; a good quarterback.

I think he'd be a great hire for them and bad news for Cowboys fans. The man is a quality coach and has been a perpetual thorn in Dallas' side since he came to the division. I think he's arguably the best available hire out there. Much respect for Tom Coughlin the coach and the man.

We're like 7-1 against the Giants the last four years if anything were a thorn in his side but I agree on the premise he's an upgrade for them

I don't want him there. They must feel they are close and with the right coach, scheme, get back to playoffs. He is almost 70 and would not be a long term hire.

If I were an Eagles fan, I wouldn't want him hired either.
