If I’m not mistaken out of 6 games left 4 home 2 road . Have to win the home games snap out of the losing at home schtick. That’s 8-7 with road games in Philly ( loss ) Carolina ( win ) . 9-8 Finish . Even without a playoff berth perhaps Jerry ponies up a three yr deal 20 million between 6-7 per yr take it or goodbye

MM has a weak staff I agree . Zimmer to his credit is big reason they win in Pittsburgh & Wash on the road with all these injuries . Zimmer is a cut above every other assistant on this staff
 
Dallas catches Washington looking ahead and all of a sudden they can win out?!?! Unfortunately they just might put a few wins together over the next few games and drop further down the draft order due to the teams they will face

Not saying this is happing but hypothetically if they did would you say he's redeemed himself from last years gut punch with Back up QB and mixed bag of starters most of them being out due to injury parts of the season.

I think what you saw was the first time this year maybe the third time this year but this is the first time they’ve ever cut cut the point Cislo the deepest bad a lot of three and out a lot of negative please turnovers they dictated the game and they gave the office a chance to get in here let me know when it happens with this guy and he blew his teams out when that happens with Dak‘s defense was getting all the turnovers Prescott was turning them into 30 and 40 points every game.... Rush looks better which game were you watching ? Had this happen since he’s been here most years in the top five number one offenses in the league and you think somehow it looks better because it looks different ????

Outside of getting to the Super Bowl, and maybe winning it, I'd say there's nothing Mike McCarthy can do to avoid getting his pink slip. Jerry did little to nothing in the offseason to ensure that he would have to re-sign MM at year's end. Jerry made certain to render him done. It surely served the intended purpose of deflecting so much of the blame from Jerry, himself, as an inept, bungling GM.

Why would Dallas fans want MM to return? His teams beat up on and pad stats against the lesser-talented teams and then promptly disappear when playing the better teams in the NFL over the past 3 years…then Dallas gets embarrassed in the playoffs last year against the 7th seed at home.
MM was supposed to be a developer of QBs and be a great offensive mind…but Dak certainly hasn’t taken his game to a new level; nor has MM’s offensive schemes flummoxed DC’s in the NFL.
Thanks to DQ not putting the ball in the hands of his best player for a game-winning conversion, instead opting for an extra point by a struggling kicker the Cowboys snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against the Commanders, so it wasn’t like MM coached them out.
Dallas needs a HC who is a disciplinarian and brings new concepts to the offense, not some re-badged offense from a decade ago; and one who is a motivator, who leads and inspires.
 
Will be hard to McCarthy to surpass the Kellen Moore frenzy that will dominate the sleepless nights of our GM

Of course it’s doubtful and probably unlikely but any type of strong finish given the circumstances could bring him back even if for a measly 1 year extension.

This is a really good question. I don’t think so but imagine if Dallas goes 9-8 or 8-9, which is not impossible given the schedule. McCarthy’s body of work here would be good. A ton of injuries this season. Starting QB out. It’s a lot. Still Jerry is going to have to sell hope again so it will be all about a new staff.
