Could a strong finish save McCarthy's job?

I know that, I'm just confused as to why you actually want us to win....you're hatred of Dak has you confused....
I just explained it to you.

I would love nothing more than the 2 million dollar man to double the wins of the 60 million dollar man.

Finishing strong could possibly save McCarthy but it would have to be a real strong finish as in winning practically all our remaining games and I don’t see that happening.

We do know that he’s really injured.

You and others are just ignoring the facts because you want to push an incredibly lame “Dak quit” agenda in order to rile up other posters.
Acr actually surprises me a bit.....we know he has a strong opinion about Dak but where are the boundaries? I'm pretty sure he would have issues with someone questioning his military credentials and rightfully so. But to see certified professional(s) signed off on Dak's injury and he still thinks Dak, the team and all medical experts are faking it. That's odd......

It's over and McCarthy knows it...regardless of results for the rest of the season. It wouldn't even surprise me if Jerry and Stephen already had a talk with him that they assured he won't get fired and he'll just finish the rest of the year.

Jason Garrett is the only coach who has lasted longer than 5 years under Jerry's watch.

The real question is as a fan, do you want him back..........I'm not sure. Maybe it's time to move on ........

I don’t want him back. It’s not like yesterday’s win was solid. We damn near blew the game in the end.

McCarthy is futile in this current Cowboys scenario.

Cowboys and the NFL both want a strong finish to protect Jerry from the heat calling for him to step down as GM.

The best thing that could happen now is for Jerry to show more signs of being lost in his old age.

Otherwise this Cowboy's debacle will happen again.

Nice perspective. Some fans have had enough. But fans are often fickle.

In reality I’m not sure who’d Jethro & Son would attract. Unless fans just want change for sake of a renewed hope.

Which is fine. But a strong finish would indicate coaching isn’t our core problem.

So, we need to root for a total collapse.

Cause we think that’s going to bring about the change we hope.

Unfortunately not going to happen. Jethro ain’t going anywhere.

we already what the problem is, a new coach wont solve it, either the owner makes FO changes starting with the GM or the results will not change.

The fact that we are one game behind San Fran in this disaster of a season makes me happy and worried that Jerry will want to keep the fat man around.

If by the grace of God that means a deep playoff run, yes, absolutely. Otherwise I really doubt it. This is the most confusing Cowboys team I can remember. Throttled the Browns and Steelers on the road, owned Washington until the last 2 or 3 minutes on the road, failed miserably in every other game. Something weird is going on in that locker room, and it's McCarthy's job to straighten it out. I don't think he can, but I've been proven wrong before.
