I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest thread I've ever seen on the internet.

Wow. Yeah.

You have to believe Jerry is not going to pay Deware Haynesworth money, with new stadium and poor economy I doubt he has the cash. I have a sneaky feeling if we dont have DEWARE signed by the draft and the right package was offered ( 2 #1's and a player), he might take it. Why not have 3great players for the price of one. Not saying this is going to happen - however the loner it goes unresolved......:banghead:

Fat chance of that happening.
Ware is not Haynesworth who can be fat and lazy. Ware has just reached his prime.
Why would JJ send a PROVEN commodity whom Dallas has been searching for (passrusher for 5 yrs...remember Ekubust, Carver, Pitman??) for 2 #1 (VERY expensive and UNPROVEN players).

If he does that type of trade, Stephen Jones should file for court restraint because JJ is insane.

DeMarcus Ware is not going anywhere outside of Dallas for any price. It's not even a consideration.

Jerry won't have to pay Ware "Haynesworth Money" because having a contract that looks really nice but is only really worth half of its total value is what stupid players do.

I was thinking the same thing. We all thought Newman was going to get one of those crazy contracts last year after Hall and a few others signed big PAPER contracts.

No, we're keeping Ware.
It's hard signing someone like Ware because you know they're not greedy, but you also have to give them what they're worth (a lot of money).

So there is no trade at all no matter what the price a team is willing to trade? Come on, everyone has a price it may be a far fetched price say like what the Vikes gave up for Walker but to say there is no price?

I'm thinking of starting a thread asking about the cap ramifications of trading Jerry Jones to the Houston Astros for the rights to oil leases in Venezuela should Chavez decide to resign.

Bad thread for sure: but I do have another better question: what about slapping the franchise tag on him? I have no clue if it would save us money or not, just putting it out there. I know people will say: "Oh, you can't do that it will breed contempt in the locker room, blah, blah, blah..." Hey, N.England and Pittsburgh and other winning teams have done it and kept winning. As I said....just a question.

For the love of all creatures big & small you might as well...

And when you start that thread, throw in the variable of how it will affect global warming in 2010 and what the mean price will be of cheese pizza's in Clearwater, FL on April 27, 2014.

That is a good question.

And do we really know if Ware will become a FA after this season? Doesn't the possibility of an uncapped 2010 make it so that Ware may not be an URA after this season but perhaps a RFA instead?

Can I get a rebate on my CZ donations after reading this nonsense that the OP posted?

He is going no Ware! Jerry will definitely get a deal done because outside of TO, this is the guy that fans come to see. The Cowboys have always had THAT guy that the fans would come to see. All the way back to Bob Lilly, Dorsett, Staubach, Randy White, Emmitt, Irvin, Deion, Roy Williams, and now Deware takes over that title. He will not be traded.

you are incorrect. Two #1's and even that the history is hit and miss. Why give up potential for possibly the best defensive player in the league? That would be incredibly stupid.

These are BS threads. These threads are started to create banter and get the author his "look at me" time. :)

Nothing serious about this thread at all. Just look at the comments.

Fans would rip that rug right off of Jerry's head if he even thought about trading the best player we have.
