Could the Top 5 QBs Overcome This OL and WR Depth?

So, this is certainly not meant to be a Dak-hate thread. I know many of us have taken a "show me" approach with Dak. I was one of his biggest defenders until last season when I had to start acknowledging that many of the negative narratives, while often over-exaggerated, had quite a bit of truth to them.

I don't follow other teams and players around the league like I do Dallas, so my question is how many of the best/ top 5 QBs in the league have overcome a similar lack of WR depth and patchwork O-line Dak is seemingly going to have to work with this year and gone on to make a playoff run? I know Rodgers is constantly brought up (though having Devante Adams certainly helps). Maybe Brady in New England a few years? I'm just trying to wrap my head around what point the offensive roster gets to where it's fair to cut Dak a break, even with his contract. I know myself and many others feel like this is a prove it/make it or break it year for Dak, and I guess I wonder at what point do I reconsider that? Since Dak is paid like a top QB it makes me wonder how many other top QBs have been in a comparable situation and still gone on to excel? I think we could also apply the same question about Kellen. The OC is going to have to get creative in an unpredictable way.

The best QB in the NFL will struggle with no protection, and the worst QB in the league will pick you apart if he has all day to throw.

I'm a LOT more worried about the O-line than WR though.

Well...
Burrow had the overall poorest oline and made it to the SB after getting sacked 51 times in reg season, 19 in the post season to include 9 in one playoff game and 5 in the SB.

Mahommes entire starting 5 from 2020 was replaced in 2021 and he guided them to an AFC championship game.

Rodgers all pro best LT in the NFL did not play all year last year. Was replaced by a guard who got injured about midway thru the season and ended up a 3rd body playing LT from about the midway point on. Additionally, the interior OC and Gs were a revolving door of injury shuffling throughout their season. They got to the divisional rd of the playoffs.

It can be done.
The question is does this HC and QB have what it takes to get it done.

Yeah, I agree. Why do we have to have 5 all-pro lineman to be successful? I've seen other teams lose lineman, and plug in replacements, and don't miss a beat!! I really think Philbin needs to go!! Coaching is definitely a factor!!

Edit: Burrow sacked 7 times in SB, not 5.

Unexpected story line going into the first Sunday Night Football game of the 2022:
Drastically different & depleted offensive lines of both teams.

Nobody could overcome Jerry and his cohorts.

If Brady had come to Dallas instead of Bucs ....... He would not be considered the goat right now ..... They would be saying it was all the system in New England.

Fact

Think part of it is what they have invested in cap at the position and how much more you can put into it. You look at the contracts for Smith, Martin and Collins (gone) doesn’t exactly leave a lot on the table for proven backups. Up until this season they were scraping the bottom just for a swing at 2m. Then with the rest of the team to fill out it leaves them grasping at late round picks and UDFA as backups!
