That team was 9-7 and barely made the playoffs. He lead the NFL in picks for most of the season.

Burrows was pretty much carried the entire playoffs by his defense and the MVP of the playoffs was easily his kicker. Burrows drove the bus. Made some plays, but basically drove the bus. And outside of beating KC they got lucky with their opponents after that.

And ultimately, they lost because of that Oline. They also had better receivers and Mixon is a much better runner then the slow and plodding Zeke.

Skill position players are better than ours. Kicker is way better. Defense played much better during the playoffs.

Burrow had the overall poorest oline and made it to the SB after getting sacked 51 times in reg season, 19 in the post season to include 9 in one playoff game and 5 in the SB.

Mahommes entire starting 5 from 2020 was replaced in 2021 and he guided them to an AFC championship game.

Rodgers all pro best LT in the NFL did not play all year last year. Was replaced by a guard who got injured about midway thru the season and ended up a 3rd body playing LT from about the midway point on. Additionally, the interior OC and Gs were a revolving door of injury shuffling throughout their season. They got to the divisional rd of the playoffs.

It can be done.
The question is does this HC and QB have what it takes to get it done.

The bengals wrs were better, but cooper, lamb, Gallup, Wilson wasn’t as far off as people make it out to be. Our Wrs were very good a year ago.

The star of the playoffs was Macpherson the kicker. He and the defense carried them in the playoffs.

Yeah, now it's because he holds the ball too long. You do an All 22 of the 9 sacks the Titans put on him and I dare say you won't reach 3 Mississippi on any one of the sacks. And cumulatively, 51 reg season sacks and 19 postseason sacks doesn't include the hits/knockdowns and pressures.
So, like you said don't too much matter who's catching the rock when under that kinda duress.

Yeah, I agree. Why do we have to have 5 all-pro lineman to be successful? I've seen other teams lose lineman, and plug in replacements, and don't miss a beat!! I really think Philbin needs to go!! Coaching is definitely a factor!!

Tbh Philbin was really good in 2020 when our oline was decimated. He's gotten worse with better players. It's weird.

The answer, of course, is no.

We’ll win the division as long as Dak’s healthy. Then as long as we lose in the playoffs at some point, Dak will be blamed by the anti-Dakkers for that loss.

Does that count as “overcoming” the OL and WR? It counts for other QBs but it doesn’t count for Dak.

That’s why you’re seeing posters mention Aaron Rodgers now... even though Rodgers lost in the Divisional Round. If Dak lost in the Divisional Round this year, he’d be crucified by the anti-Dakkers regardless of the circumstances.

100% correct but the Bungles started building their OL after the 2020 season of almost getting Joe killed, and they have realized they need to build it further if they want more. Of course we cannot compare Joe to Dak, not in any conversation point as one is a generational QB picked 1st overall

of course, they could, assuming the defense is in the top 10--which we expect it to be.
The problem is when you have a mediocre or poor line AND a bottom-feeder defense.

What about Mahomes in the SB with all of his WR's and RB's, but yet struggled with 2 of his OL out?
He could not overcome that.
