Could Washington be tougher than we thought?

Washington looked worse against NY than we did and they were at home.

That was then. This is now. Their QB is getting better every game. Quinn has their D playing good. They are in first place.

I saw it coming a mile away.

Good mobile QB that is accurate and is in a modern NFL offense. Good veteran leadership on both sides of the ball. Probably one of the most underrated RB's in the league. An OL that is starting to click and win at the LOS. The defense doesn't have many of the flashy names but Dan has them flying around.

I like that team...

It sucks that a ROOKIE can actually do a few good things, the many in here feel that if we got a rookie he would be the worst thing ever and could never have any good moments like #4 can

A lot of people have been calling this all offseason. They had a ton of draft picks, a ton of money for free agents, and a new HC. Perfect recipe for a good year, especially when you hit on a young qb.

Some folks in DC are comparing him to RG3. I think they are nuts. RG could never throw like this kid and read a defense like this kid. RG3 would make one read and then saddle up and hit the jets and then try to run over folks. This kids has already perfected the slide. At first glance he appears to have a lot of the same tools as Mahomes in KC, but he's lot faster.

The NFL changes so quickly. A few years ago, when they drafted Chase Young and had a stout DL, people thought they’d be a threat as soon as they got an offense. Now, Chase Young is long gone, they drafted a good young QB, and people think they’ll be a threat as soon as they get a defense.

The Giants gave Washington a run in week 2 as well, with a 21-18 final.

They are winning the division....Coaching matters....Dan Quinn is proving that. They were aggressive in free agency....hit on the draft when they got Daniels......the new Commanders reign has arrived...ahead of schedule.

A QB matters. Quinn reached the Super Bowl when he had an MVP QB. The same with Ron Rivera.

Right now they are looking pretty good. Scored on 16 straight possessions up into this game. Daniels completion percentage is 82 percent. Dan Quinn knows our predictable offensive scheme to well from being here. They will be a tough out for us even with Parsons and Tank back in my opinion.

The answer is obviously yes. And their improvement comes at the same time as our decline, which was hastened by the inaction of our front office, as well as the Eagles, who are dead in the water with Hurts and Moore, and the Giants, who refuse to acknowledge their QB is one of the worst in the league (and Daboll is a gigantic coward as a HC).

Washington has a real chance to take the division this year and, if Daniels is the real deal, lead the pack for a few years.

This. We can say what we want about Quinn. But our defense def took a step back. But what's even more alarming is our offense took a GIANT step back.

Great QB right now. But alot more needs to be shown.

That was a couple weeks ago. Daniels is getting better every week. Rookie QB, new hc, new oc, new coaches all around basically. They are only going to get better. It's pretty amazing what they've done on offense these last 2 games.

We know what the ceiling is for this cowboys team, and it's not going any further than an early playoff exit, if that.

They've got some talented wrs and a very underrated RB. They are great on the interior of the dline.
