Could Witten be on the trading block?

I love the idea of Roy Williams here, but I would pitch such a fit if he did that.

Sherman's march to the sea would be nothing in comparison to the pitch fork mob I would lead to Jerry's front door.

;)

I read the thread. It wasn't total speculation by a Zoner. It was speculation by Norm on the ticket and it was reported by trickblue, who's a mod.

So after reading the thread, I believe there was a potential trade on the table. And it was hosed, because the Lions wanted too much. Spags later said they wanted Ware.

That sounds about what I recall.

:hammer:

but so true this idea sounds so dumb...i rather have a bag of rocks at Rb Or WR then to trade witten

i do not think there is anyone in the league worth trading him for

unless its a pakage deal like....Cromartie and Antonio gates

OMG this so so dumb! trading a probowl player for another probowl player??? thats just stupid i mean just trade them a 6th a 7th and caprenter...works on madden all the time! sorry I don't have anything insightful to say all I can do is ROFLOL!!!!1!!!!!1!

I chugged one after playing basketball for three hours straight. Not one cramp unless you count my stomach muscles after I puked out the window of my truck. ;)

If I recall JERRY did not have Witten on the trading block. I think the Lions were saying it would take Witten or Ware and Jerry basically said no.

I think the facts are mixed up here.

I seem to recall Dallas mentioned regarding Calvin Johnson and a deal with Detroit.

I think Witten's name was mentioned by the Lions and that was the end of the discussion.

:hammer:

The next sound Millen heard was "click".

I can't see Jerry using Witten as trade bait. Now a team may have asked for him. If I were Jerry I would have :lmao:

I opened up this thread after reading the title and saying what the hell...?

I will be in Dallas the day after to kick Jerry in his ___ if he ever traded Jason Witten.

Without Witten this offense is not even half as affective.

Witten is probably the most well rounded TE in the league. He can block, catch, run, do whatever.

There is no way we trade him. NO WAY.

Witten will retire a cowboy and then be inducted in the the R.O.H. this thread can be closed now

the person who wrote this should be Tar'd and feathered.

Ware and witten are our two best players. Trading one of them doesnt make sense in any scenario.

Quick! Hide!

BTW, I agree 100%.

Just because Norm thought it was a possibility means nothing. Romo, Witten, Ware and probably Newman are the only players that Jerrah would under no circumstances trade for a rookie. No matter who it was.

I would like to see proof of this....

As would I, but there isn't any because it's bunk. There was no way in hell that Dallas would trade Witten. I don't believe that "rumor" for a second.

It would be pointless to trade Witten, kinda like trading Barber........where do people get these ideas from?
