pretty much open season on this topic....im torn on it.....on one hand it would definitely make us the nf east favorites for a 2-3 year window max and knock the eagles out of 2nd place, crating a mess beneath us....we'd have 2 receivers that can be gamebreakers and a surfire chain mover, plus young developing talent....we have 3 qbs that can fire the ball somewhere close to him and throw it downfield....he could easily rack upwards of 10tds....and we have a coach that I like to call Luca Brasi(from The Godfather) who can straighten anybody out, and recently our very own Don Corleone(Jerrah-tho only as far as players are concerned and 2 coaches outta bazillion) so a TO problem wouldnt be much, i mean those 2 can iron any situation out...of ocurse on the other hand TO has done probably the single most disgraceful thing to the Cowboy franchise as any other player...and he got his leg broken by our very own Ronnie Lott v 2.0.... so that could get sticky....i for one am leaning more towards yes to this trade becuase despite the personal disrespect he showed us, he has the ability to make this team at least an every year nfc championship contender....and we have the pieces in place to keep him from self destructing....do i think its a gamble?yep....but one worth betting on because of what it means for our franchise....thoughts?

What he did to the star cannot and never will be forgiven by me, andi will not be able to watch the cowboys as long as TO wears the star.so the answer .... NO

I wouldn't mind T.O. being in Dallas as long as you bury him deep enough so he won't cause any trouble. On second thought, better cremate him then "distribute" his ashes by flushing them down a hundred widely separated toilets and a couple of old privvies.

I can't see very many owners being dumb enough to think they could deal with him after the Philly debacle;, Jerry, maybe or shorty in Washington, perhaps.

What's the difference between Najeh Davenport squatting in a closet and Terrell Owens wiping his feet on the Star?

Not much, but the smell is exactly the same.

so you guys are saying you would NOT want this guy on the team, wretched tho he has been, and kill your number one competetior in your entire conference, let alone division....and make yourselves almost automatic favorites for the nfc crown.....because he disrespected the star?look, im a huge dallas fan and the tradition and legacy of my team means a hell of a lot because it is probably the richest and deepest tradition BUT i also care about my franchise, its livelyhood, its sucess, and the morale of my coach, owner, and players....BP can corral this guy!you guys know it! and man if the guy will take us to the promised land within parcells' tenure and at the same time thrash one of our most hated rivals....you would not take it?we can pay him a helluva lot, and hes going to ge tthe ball....cancer?doubtful, hes never had a perfect situation or a coach as gangster as parcells and parcells aint gonna crumble in the face of TO.....i can understand why you guys would not want him and i didnt want even the slightest possibilty of it happening either at first....but i started looking over the potential....and ill be damned if i let an oppurtunity like this slip up....we are the cowboys!winning is our business and if we want to contend with the best of the AFC and NFC we need one more piece of the puzzle....a gamebreaking receiver and TO is that, Star spiking or not! are you guys telling me that if lavar arrington was 100% healthy and wanted to come here and could instantly propel us to number one defensive unit status....even though he KO'ed our beloved Troy....you would not take him? but alas, this is a matter of opinions, and i cant fault any of my fellow Cowboys for having a difference of opinion....Art im not!

come on guys u all just saying that u will be all cheering for TO
if he ever come here . To think of it it might work becouse he will know it will be his last stop so he will behave and try to prove himself even more specially when we play the eagels...problem is
1-he will cost alot...
2-he has bad agent...
3-will he and Key get a long.....
4-then you have the OL problem...
otherwise it is about winning ...he is not a criminal all he is asking is more cash he might be wrong with his approach but if he gets it I say bravo TO..( even though I can't stand him)

As Cowboys fans, we've had to put up with a lot of BS throughout recent years. A few notable examples:

-Jerry Jones coming in and immediately firing a living Icon in Tom Landry

-The rift between Jerry and Jimmy that cost us (IMO) at least one more Lombardi Trophy

-Three straight 5-11 seasons under Dave "Puppet" Campo

For all of those negatives, I always remained true to the Star while holding out hopes that things would eventually get better and each time they have. Whomever comes and goes (Landry, Aikman, Smith, etc.), the Cowboys will forever be the Cowboys. It's our team. This team belongs to those of us who were born and raised with the idea that Fall Sundays are a religion and Texas Stadium was the Church. We own them; sorry Jerry but it's the truth. This really is America's Team and there's almost nothing in the World that could chase me away from them.

With that being said, the second that I see this guy:

......wearing a Cowboys Jersey, my loyalty to the Star will have taken an immeasurable shot, to the point where I will deeply question my faith as a Cowboys fan and might even come to the point where I start to (gulp) look for another NFL team to follow.

May that day never come.

Yes

he is a cancer to the team, he is concieted and cries to much about everything, and he is dissing Mcnabb of all guys, what do you think he's gonna say about us?

Third in the second year if his contract he says he isnt getting paid as an elite WR when he's getting paid more in base salary than randy moss, and i think is 1 mill under harrison, the best WR in the game.

He is not good enough to me (espically coming of a foot injury) to mack up for past and the negatives he brigns to the team.

i would. i would take randy moss too. anybody who can make us win another super bowl. same as i was ok with deion and haley at the time. winning is the only thing that matters.

having said all that, it'll never happen. no way filthy trades him within the division.

It was probably Stephen A. Smith or Skip Bayless.
