Big deal.

Half the kids in school are smoking pot.

The problem is, he kept smoking knowing full well that his employers, the NFL and Dallas Cowboys, tested for it. While half the kids in school may smoke, I'd bet most of them would stop once they left school and worked for a company that drug tests.

If there was any point in his Cowboys career when he threw 24 TDs to only 3 INTs, Parcells would have founded the Dallas/Fort Worth Cannibis Club to make sure Quincy had an uninterruptible supply.

Exactly, look at the pitcher in St. Louis, dude was drunk and high and could have killed some one else driving 80 MPH.... All I heard was how good of a guy he was.. What makes Quincy any different???? I just wish Carter the best and pray he stays clean.

As long as it is illegal and the NFL tests for it, it shows TOTAL stupidity to keep using it. Also a lack of self control and discipline. THAT is why he is where he is.

What is arena league close to as regards quality; I think it is better then NFL Europe, but anything else?

"Arena League" consists of the AFL and the AFL2.

The AFL is a high quality atmosphere and some might say it's on the level as NFLE or better. The quality of competition drops considerably when you go to the AFL2. It doesn't surprise me that QC is putting up eye popping numbers in the AFL2. I would be more surprised if he wasn't doing it in that league.

That said... I wouldn't mind seeing him totally turn himself around and get back to the NFL one day. It's going to be a looooooooooong road though.

They could have suspended Carter for a game or two.

Why destroy his career?

Some people will never realize that. Blame always belongs somewhere else. Never on the guilty.

He said it was pot. No one else is allowed to comment on what drug it was.

Let's be honest here, no one throws away one of the most prestigious jobs in all of sports for pot. Pot is just not that influential.

In my opinion, it sounds more like the result of a possible cocaine addiction.

You know,it's too bad.But i remember one night
against the Giants he played pretty good. The pass
i believe to Bryant across the field at the last part
of the game,he had some talent, could be very elusive and
run better than the backs did.I hope the best for the man,but
he also hurt this team. They went 10-6,he let the team down and us.

Good for him... I think he could have been a decent NFL quarterback. As long as he is keeping away from the drugs and hitting women, god bless him.

Thank God you are not allowed to make any decisions in regard to the Dallas Cowboys.
