Never ceases to amaze me how much people keep finding ways to make excuses for Q. No matter what. After all he has screwed up, all the obvious stupid things he has done, there are still some trying to excuse him.

I hope he gets it right up-stairs, because he's always had some talent.

Carter smoked pot ?!?

Well...lets fire him!

I think the punishment needs to fit the crime.

I've never felt right about his firing. [Considering the fact that the Cowboys said it was for performance reasons.]

I really hope Quincy turns his career around and gets back to the NFL.

He was going to be a suspended for 4 games for failling the leagues substance abuse policy. IIRC also he agreed to tougher measures when the boys signed him because his drug issue was well known. Not to mention we had a coach that was also trying to clean up the team image. Actually if you hurt yourself at work the company can reserve the right to drug test you, if you fail say bye bye. Personally I think anyone that gets caught using illegal drugs should be fired there is no room in this world for people with no self control or self respect.

never a big quincy fan...but hey I'm glad he is doing good.
after all he was (like it or not ) a COWBOY.

I agree with you I didn't like him as our QB but give a guy a break if hes trying to turn his life around good for him. This is America the home of (the celebs )who do drugs then go to rehab then get a 5 picture deal after they go on Oprah. So if those people embrace there on so should we on that note Good luck QC who knows what's in your future just keep on reaching for the stars PUN intended( G-d that sounds so gay-)

Why are you so worried about QC? He has a job! He makes $200.00 a game and an extra $50.00 if they win! That's plenty of money to keep his stash full!

If Romo were to come to training camp all jacked up and the Cowboys fired him on the spot, would you be complaining about him the same way you do Quincy? I doubt it...

 Quincy was given enough chances...now it's up to him this time around. Good luck, QC!!

"This just in to NFL Network studios. Sources throughout the NFL are saying that
there isn't a chance in hell that Quincy Carter will ever again play in the league.
I repeat, NFL sources are now saying that Quincy Carter,
former quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, will never again play
in the pros. I will now return to catching flies with my mouth.
Back to you, Mike Mayoch."

* riiiing *

"Not now, Alycia! I'm on the air. I'll call you back."

He smoked pot.

Big deal.

Half the kids in school are smoking pot.

I'm glad it became a big deal, I didn't want him here in the first place.;)

11 pages, one person says sign him. (And that person has suffered severe head trauma.) (Apologies to anyone that suffered severe head trauma but still knows we should not resign Carter.)

Funny stuff!

They could have suspended Carter for a game or two.

Why destroy his career?

If they'd "destroy" more careers then maybe some of these players would'nt do the things that put their career in jeopardy. I give props to the Commish for what he did to Pacman and Henry. Whether it's drugs or other bad activities.

Here are the top 10 reasons that make the QuINTsy appologists want to give him another chance:

Reason #10: They thought that QuINTsy was "The Ultimate" public speaker.

Reason #9: It is Jerry Jones fault QuINTsy failed. Well, not entirely. the fact we didn't trade Dexter Coakley when we should have played a part. Also we should have started Hambrick earlier played a roll. Chad Hutchinson's music bothered QuINTsy and of course we didn't draft Moss. All of that was orchestrated to ruin QuINTsy.

Reason #8: They think QuINTsy looks good in tights.

Reason #7: They believe that JFK's assasination and QuINTsy's failed drug test are somehow linked into the same conspiracy.

Reason #6: They think that it isn't QuINTsy's fault he failed, it is THE MAN keeping him down.

Reason #5: They bought into the original QuINTsy hype and just cant believe that they were duped into believing a dopehead should QB the Cowboys.

Reason #4: They used to smoke dope with QuINTsy way back when and reminisce about the old days.

Reason #3: They erroneously think if QuINTsy can QB the Cowboys, so can I.

Reason #2: They think Quincy's lisp is kinda sexy and curiously arousing.

Reason #1: QuINTsy is their third cousin's sister's aunt's half brother's cousin's adopted child's godparent's ex wife's cousin, three times removed.

Reason #10: They thought that QuINTsy was "The Ultimate" public speaker. He gets you hot.

Still on Dexter Coakley kick? One of those people whom nothing EVER gets old for.

Reason #8: They think QuINTsy looks good in tights. That's you, bra. Lol. I mean who thinks about that unless they've thought about that. You've obviously thought long and HARD ;) about that.

Reason #7: They believe that JFK's assasination and QuINTsy's failed drug test are somehow linked into the same conspiracy. Not only stuck in the past, I think he's got a time machine and maybe actually lives there.

Reason #6: They think that it isn't QuINTsy's fault he failed, it is THE MAN keeping him down. Sounds like someone who's used that excuse before. Or perhaps just borderline racist, yourself.

Reason #5: They bought into the original QuINTsy hype and just cant believe that they were duped into believing a dopehead should QB the Cowboys. Most take it as it comes, they don't live in the past like you. I bet you were a Hutch fan.

Reason #4: They used to smoke dope with QuINTsy way back when and reminisce about the old days. Pointless.

Reason #3: They erroneously think if QuINTsy can QB the Cowboys, so can I. Wow, you can't stop.

Reason #2: They think Quincy's lisp is kinda sexy and curiously arousing. Wow, again.

Reason #1: QuINTsy is their third cousin's sister's aunt's half brother's cousin's adopted child's godparent's ex wife's cousin, three times removed. Just back away from the keyboard, homie.

Verdict in. You're stupid. Lmao. :lmao2: That is the dumbest thing I've ever read on this board and my god there's been some woozies. You have WAY too much time on your hands. Kinda sounds like you have been personally begrudged by him, either that or your issues run severely deeper that there just is no way to gauge them on an internet message board. Though just look at me, my issues, picking on a ****** in public- wow, I've got problems, too. But atleast mine have to be more gratifying than beating a half-decade old dead horse to death.

Verdicts #1 Reason for Hating "QuINTsy": QuINTsy has the same color skin as those whom used to beat his *** on a daily basis growing up. (Whachaaa - oh yeah, I said it!)

In closing; The bashing of him is unnessacary. He was our QB, he took us to the playoffs, then he messed up (like a human) and suddenly wasn't our quarterback. No more needs to be said. Just the way the dice fall. Since we like to stay SO far in the past, why don't we just drudge up Duane Thomas for a go around? Or is this Duane? :)
