interesting....I would certainly think we have enough offensive horsepower to be on the better side of this stat. It's speaks volumes for Dak's current play style and/or play calling, which seems to be very cautious and high percentage
Those aren't air yards. They include dumpoffs behind the LOS with 20+ yards after the catch.

Here's completions based on air yards (depth of target).
@>20 yards

Prescott
2017: 7 (on pace for 16)
2016: 16

Romo
2014: 22
2013: 15
2012: 21
2011: 24

Prescott averages 1.0 per game, Romo averaged about 1.3 per game over his last 4 seasons.

Wrong again.
Cooper has played quite well for a cheap free agent signing.
Dak is the greatest 4th round pick in NFL history.
I don't think you can call a former 1st rd pick bottom of the barrel vs an undrafted FA pick...just my opinion. Austin would be a better correlation imo.

Helmet-to-helmet rules are different for a player who is running with the ball and a player who is passing the ball (a "defenseless" player).

The Dak play should have been a spearing penalty ("tackler initiates forcible contact by delivering a blow with the top/crown of his helmet against an opponent when both players are clearly outside the tackle box"), but it wouldn't matter that he hit Dak in the helmet -- it would be illegal if he hit him anywhere when leading with the top/crown of his helmet.

Either way, it's sad to see Dak getting some of the same treatment from officials that Romo got when he was here. Even a whiff against Rodgers draws a penalty while our quarterbacks can be broken in half and not get one.
