Cowboy Tweets 10/30

Those aren't air yards. They include dumpoffs behind the LOS with 20+ yards after the catch.

Here's completions based on air yards (depth of target).
@>20 yards

Prescott
2017: 7 (on pace for 16)
2016: 16

Romo
2014: 22
2013: 15
2012: 21
2011: 24

Prescott averages 1.0 per game, Romo averaged about 1.3 per game over his last 4 seasons.
Percy, this site wouldn't be the same without you, sir. You're a gem, man

Just imagine if we had picked Frank Clark instead of Randy Gregory.

Not aiming this at you, Zordon, but can I just say again that I hate that PFF has become a defacto standard for evaluating and comparing players at any position suddenly? This crap is too easy to tweet and spread, and they've done a great job of getting it out there. But it's still PFF.

Helmet-to-helmet rules are different for a player who is running with the ball and a player who is passing the ball (a "defenseless" player).

The Dak play should have been a spearing penalty ("tackler initiates forcible contact by delivering a blow with the top/crown of his helmet against an opponent when both players are clearly outside the tackle box"), but it wouldn't matter that he hit Dak in the helmet -- it would be illegal if he hit him anywhere when leading with the top/crown of his helmet.
Adam, why don't you post as much as you used to :(

Dude, if we had Randy active instead of in NFL prison for weed, he'd be beasting just like Clark. Even better, me thinks.

Very comparable to Von.

I'm one. He's the best CC in the game.

Doesn't mean he always gets it right.

Best CC in the game.

Oh, I'm not talking about Aikman. I'm talking about the officiating. I'm the rare Cowboy fan who really likes Troy in the booth.

I'm just not at all surprised that the Rodgers play was called, while Dak wasn't. For the record, when I saw the Dak play live I thought good non-call too, but I'm admittedly old school. It's the complexity of the rules and the clear and blatant inconsistencies in officiating that I can't stand. The league has become too much about rules and refs.

Oh, Herd, my bad, man!!! I couldn't agree more, my dude.

Frank Clark stomped out his pregnant girlfriend right before the draft. The Seahawks took SOOO much flak for drafting him. I'm glad we didn't take that POS some things are bigger than football
Did he really, J? Wow. What a punk *****. And people cry about Gregory...

I don’t really remember the Seahawks taking any flak for drafting him. I think most of the flak that offseason hit us for signing Greg Hardy.

Tyreek Hill did the same thing at Oklahoma State and got kicked off the team, but you don’t hear anyone complaining about the Chiefs drafting a proven woman beater, but you hear it about the Cowboys.

Just put him in the new coming to america movie

I'll take the Kraken over a guy who beats a pregnant woman. So sad The Kraken and RG can't play, while others like the aforementioned, and Mixon can.

Look, let em all play, I guess. But if one guy can and the other can't, that's sickening.
