Stating the obvious that the Ron Marinelli's team relies on an All-Pro LB, All-Pro pass rush and competent secondary to be effective. The problem is not the players is the scheme, look at the Saints, Panthers defense I believe they have similar talent levels as the Cowboys and they succeed.

Ughhh Luke Kuechly....

Luke Kuechly is great, but the Carolina defense doesn't fall apart when he is out. Doesn't mean Lee is better or worse than Luke, but he is definitely more important to the defensive performance. Probably more of an indicator of the rest of the talent on defense.
