Again, I don’t dislike the guy at all. Just think his coaching gets a little overrated at times. Every college job that opens they all point to Gruden. He hasn’t recruited in nearly 30 years. I just get a laugh at how Gruden can solve all teams problems whether they be NFL or college.

Yeah I hear you on the college coaching talk. I don't get that as much. As far as the NFL, I would think he could still be a good coach. He hasn't removed himself from the game and is a creative film freak. He was Sean McVay back then...HC in his 30s. He's only about 53 now.

I've got a hunch it depends largely upon whether he loses his post as a commentator or not.

This guy is fortunate enough to have a pretty soft and well-paying job right where his is now.

my personal opinion giving the style of wr we have and the versatility at Running back and Dak's abilities I think Josh Mcdaniels would actually fit here nicely.

It will never happen however. He is used to being around how the patriots operate and this is the polar opposite here. Plus Jerry made it abundantly clear how miserable he was having to bite his lip on a regular basis when Bill Parcells was here so he will never take the blue collar approach again.

he's got stuff to sell.

McDaniels also was responsible for Tim Tebow. Not sure I want that.

It's funny that over the years, people have kind of forgotten how good Tyron is.

You hear people say Zeke, Dak, Lee are the best players on this team. For a while, Zach Martin was even considered our best OL.

To me, Smith has unquestionably been the best player on the Cowboys by his second season.

I think Smith probably plays and Lee sits for sure. Just reading between the lines. And I just saw that NFLN reportedly said Tyron is out, but I'm not sure where that came from.
