And which young DL do we cut for Ware? Our pass rush will improve getting DMoore back and DIrving. If it's Tapper we are cutting for Ware, I'll say no.

Nobody ever considers who you would have to drop.

Hey, it's fine to have a possible option if you should need one. But right now, they don't. And they should get even stronger after this week.

They're not in bad shape where they need to see if Ware has anything left. To say nothing of what shape he's in physically.

Wow, the NFL is so disfunctional that even its high priced lawyers are incompetent.

The NFL Lawyers aren't incompetent, they just have nothing to use in a legal argument. They were told to file an appeal and did so while billing over $1000 per hour to do so. Its not their fault their client (the NFL) screwed the pooch and has no justification for doing so.

He's washed up

That's not a fact, that's simply your opinion. Even a "washed up" Ware is still better than 80% of the pass rushers on the team. And he's not washed up IMO.

So what do you call it when someone claims to still be a "guru" but never was one?

80%? Who is better than even the current version of Ware, strictly as a pass rusher?

The Ware today, who won't get the help from Von Miller? Ware can only do it in spot duty. The guys we have are young and can play more downs. I say DIrving, DMoore, MCollins, Lawrence, maybe Tapper too. Don't bash me.

Totally agree - but I don't think it hurts to have the convo ongoing. If one of the DE's were to get injured in middle part of the season, and IF Ware is keeping in shape and interested it could be an interesting idea. He might consider $5m to play 6 games + playoffs.

Oh, I agree those players are better DE than Ware overall and for an entire game, and certainly over the season. But I'm only talking purely a pass rusher in a specialized situation. We're up 4, Patriots ball at our 32, it's 4th and 8, 2:12 left in the Super Bowl. Brady motions Edelman to the right, Gronk is in the slot on the left. Would you rather have any of those guys above Ware at RDE?

Good news with this scenario?

Edelman is done for the year and Gronk will probably have more back issues by December. :D
