Yeah, players should not make these decisions. They always want to play, especially guys like Lee. If it was just pain tolerance, I wouldn't be worried, but soft tissue injuries scare me.

They don't make the decision. The medical staff decides whether they are cleared to play or not. If Jerry is saying it's up to Lee, then he's been cleared to play.

Yep...doesnt' matter if it's Green or Cooper. Help will be needed most any passing down. Leary would be real handy this week but you can't pay everyone. I did want to keep him though. He's far superior to Green and Cooper. That's a matchup issue for us as is Lee probably being out and Paea banged up. The middle of both our interior lines aren't our strength right now and that's a problem in the NFL. Can't be soft up the middle. (in any sport really.)

Last thought on Donald and the havoc he wreaks: Yeah, he's formidable as hell, but the NINERS still scored 39 on them...just saying. Also, Zeke is big and bad enough to chip Donald on most every play and he should. Get a piece of that big boy every play. I'd even put Hannah at Hback and have him as a second line of defense. Donald beats Green or Coop, someone else should be waiting: Fred beard on a double team or Zeke or Hannah on a chip. I mean, the guy isn't Mean Joe Greene for crissakes.

Not convinced at all in Cooper, in fact i am terrified putting him against Donald, but if Green can't go this week he is too soft to play in the NFL.
He should head back to the bench.
