If nothing else, you've got to admire Leary's confidence but there's a long way to go yet before anything is decided. La'el isn't anyone to be taken for granted and I'd be willing to betcha his performance will be vastly improved before all is said and done. Mr. Leary will be obliged to improve his pass protection in the meantime.

It seems were are saving up Collins. That is alright, I suppose. For the team. Not the player.

I just think it is silly to waste his energy. That young man was angry a few months ago and then he went on a steak and lobster dinner at Jerry Jones' mansion promising him he would be part of something special.

Pretty sure La'el probably realized he'd have to win the job first. That's not exactly to say he won't, of course. If not this year, it'll more than likely be next. Sooner or later, his energy is bound to come in handy, I'm sure. Let's just hope he stays patient 'til his time comes.
