Guess it depends on what you're playing for at this point. It definitely ruins any division title chances. Based on the NFC standings right now though a wild card birth feels hard to not get....which to your point could make it harder for the Cowboys to get up for?
We would be shooting ourselves out of a wildcard with 4 conference losses. Those determine tiebreakers. I can’t see us winning 10 games if we lose at home to a bad Giants team that’s playing with a scrub QB. We’ll likely end up with a losing record if that happens. The wheels are bound to come off with a loss on Sunday. I don’t see us losing but you never know with the Cowboys.

Luckily for the Giants (live in NY) they don’t have to tank, they just flat out suck lol.

Giants are even more trash than expected this season its awesome!
No one really expected them to be trash after showing improvement last season. However, their season is in the toilet. They really have nothing to lose at this point which means we better show up on Sunday. They’ll be throwing caution to the wind.

This should be a game where Dallas sits almost all the starters in the second half.

The Dallas Cowboys came into the season hoping that sixth-year wideout Michael Gallup would prove his down year in 2022 was an abnormality. Gallup, who signed a five-year contract extension with the Cowboys in March of 2022, posted career lows in receiving yards (424) and Y/R (10.9) last season and never looked fully comfortable returning from the ACL tear he suffered in late 2021.

This season, with Gallup close to two years removed from the injury, Dallas was hoping the wideout would return to the guy they saw play a huge role in their offense from 2018-2020. Eight games into the season, Gallup’s 2023 campaign has looked a whole lot like what we saw in 2022. The 27-year-old wideout has just 22 receptions for 243 yards, catching two or fewer passes in five of Dallas’ eight games. Gallup’s average separation of 2.6 yards is just .2 points higher than his 2.4 yards from last season, showing he is still having some serious issues separating from defenders and getting open.

The former third-round pick also ranks 60th in the NFL in route win rate (45.1%), 90th in win rate vs. man (28.7%), and 91st in contested catch rate (10%) via PlayerProfiler. What made Gallup so good in his heyday was his ability to beat defenders deep and make contested catches down the field. At this point in his career, that ability is virtually nonexistent. Gallup’s average target distance of 11 yards is 50th in the league and his six deep targets on the season are 53rd among all wideouts.

Gallup’s struggles came to a head in Philadelphia on Sunday. With a little over one minute left in the first half, Dallas had a third and three from the Philadelphia 33-yard line. Gallup came wide open over the middle but dropped a perfect pass from Dak Prescott. This ended Dallas’ chance for a touchdown drive before the half and forced them to settle for a field goal.

I don't have trust in his focus and coordination now. He has 1/2 a season to prove he deserves a job next season.

So, therefore.....

Do you believe Raiders are that much better than the Giants?
.
Do you believe the Cardinals are 12 points better than the cowboys?
Or 49ers is 32 points better than the cowboys?
so, it means that any fear that people have here is ridiculous.

Could we lose, sure but do you honestly think the Giants will be able to put up more than 14 points on us with Devito at QB? How on Earth does their D keep up from getting 17?

Dallas is a different animal at home, this game could be worse than the first one as unlikely as that seems.

True not trash but the odds of them having a good season again were against them. I expected like 6-7 wins for them.

I thought they would be better than what they have been. At least on par with last season.
