I dont need stats

I need him to take on double teams which leaves parsons, lawrence, williams, and osi one on one and collapse the pocket when 1 on 1 forcing the qb to move off his spot

In the run game all i need is gap integrity thats it...

Idc if he gets 2 sacks and 4 tackles this year....if hes doing all of the above then hes a core piece of the defense
Rare level-headed take to find on here

I just want him to pancake his OL counterpart every play. Not a big ask, right? hehe

I know alot of yall like to move goalposts on here. What's a successful season for Mazi statwise?
PAIN ... to the opposing team ....

I will say if he gets 2 sacks, that will be a success to a start on learning to be a pass rusher.
As to tackles I am not sure.
I do know this, if he gets more tackles and that means the LB's such as LVE gets less...like it should be, then fans will be bashing LVE or other LB's.

Anyone hyping Mazi and what he will do in year one is in for serious disappointment. He's not ready for impact.

Muscles and mass don't make a player. He'll need commitment, a year of experience with Quinn... and perhaps a few days on Parson's island.
I'm quoting just so this is easier to find mid season.

I am just tickled that Dallas are now taking one technique defensive tackles in the first round before Quinn came home they would not consider one in the first round.

This scares me a bit. He quits and becomes a MMA fighter…

I’m guessing he was being hyperbolic. It’s easy to tell from his tape that he likes football; there’s never been any lack of effort or motor concerns with him.

Mazi translated: Regarding football, I like legalised aggravated assault. :muttley: As long as he's on our team go for it!
