I don't think he will. But it would a very Roseman move to try if they could get him for peanuts. Maybe they'd just run some wildcat plays with him. And I mention Reid only because he's a wizard with QBs and if anyone can get some productive plays out of him it would be him.
The Eagles have Pickett and McKee, they don't want a 3rd string scrub.. :muttley:

I just dont understand him staying in Dallas unless he has zero market elsewhere and returns as a 3rd qb. He requires a completely different offense than Dak will run which is a horrible thing to have as a back up QB. I'm a Lance fan, but his time in Dallas should be over given the direction the Cowboys have gone.
His time in Dallas should have never happened. It was a complete waste of his time.

In hindsight, yes. Jerry really screwed the pooch on this one. well, he does that a lot on just about everything.
Well some of us new this in advance. It is unbelievable to me that Jerry did not.

His contract time was identical to Dak's and GM Jethro, the entire time said he was going to extend Dak and Trance was not a threat to him.

So what the hell was the point of the trade exactly???

Then to top it off Dak goes down for the year, creating a perfect opportunity to play him. Show case him to the league, and hope we end up with a comp pick when he left, while increasing our draft position.

Jerry is a complete idiot, all the way around in this deal. It never made any sense from day 1.

Maybe Jerry did not want to show case him and drive up his value. Maybe Jerry wants him back on the team

Another Ex Buckeye, transferred out from a deep QB group.
McCord not bad at all.
He was run out of Columbus for the unforgivable sin of losing to Michigan - in an 11-1 season. OSU's loss was definitely SU's gain.

I like everything about the kid. His attitude, intelligence, leadership, and humility. His grasp of the game, and ability to put the ball exactly where it needs to be. The intangibles. Led the nation in passing yards, and outplayed Cam Ward in Syracuse's upset of Miami in the Dome this year.

I sound like McCord's agent, but it's been a long time since I've seen a Syracuse guy come in and make an impact with the Cowboys. A guy called "Moose."

No plays when/if Dak gets hurt again.
I get it Dak will miss games but it is dumb to keep throwing money at a position after making Dak the highest paid player ever. I'd rather they draft a guy late to try and develop.

Got on McCord early in the season. IMO his upside is huge.
