Kinda makes sense for us. Our LBs are hybrid S/LBs.

Its a pretty good gig for an entry level. QC is basically just charting film and collecting data. With assistant LB tag, he may also about to some hands on coach which QC coaches never do

Developing new coaches is a process. This is a great opportunity for him. Generally it’s the average or marginal players who go into coaching. The stars made enough money they tend to not want these jobs because it’s a lot of hours for little pay relative to what they made as players
I like the idea of bringing guys back and always thought Sean Lee could be a really good coach
