Cowboys among five teams reportedly interested in Pierre Garcon

I'm trying to remember the last time Garçon did anything wrong f note against Dallas since we supposedly have such a bad secondary. 2012? lol meanwhile Ginn was a number 1 wr for a super bowl team. Let's talk facts here if we gonna talk

Ginn was a #1 WR but default that year. He's never sniffed 1000 yards or 70 receptions.

Holy hell, dude.

I think Ted Ginn is a faster version of Terrance Williams. Wouldn't mind him either but garcon is definitely another saftey net for prescott. He's reliable. I'd be happy with either. Garcon has decent speed

Exactly. I wouldn't be opposed to Ginn at all. But Garçon is a better WR and it's not even debatable.

He sniffed 10 tds though (holy hell) yourself. I'm obsessed with having different dimensions, not two of the same damn receivers

You can win without having a burner on the outside. There's your problem.

This is moot anyway because Garçon is going to get paid more than we probably want to spend.

Better and better for Dallas are two different things.

No, not really. In fact, you can argue Garçon makes more sense. With this offense they are going to run the ball, control the clock and work the mid range passing game.

Garçon fits better than Ginn for that style of offense.

You can. But for this team I think we need it.

Carolina was a running team in Ginn 10 td season. Let's talk facts like I said

He had 10 TDs once in his entire career. In an unconventional offense around Cam Newton.

He's not a #1 type WR.

He's barely a decent #2.

He's not as good as Garçon.

You don't need Ted Ginn for Dallas to win.

Again, I'll take Ginn. But if cost weren't an option there are like 4 or 5 FA WRs is want over him.

You overrate Ginn.

And frankly, if I am looking for a cheap-ish free agent WR, I'd look at Michael Floyd first.

We'll agree to disagree. I'd love to see teams double Dez with Ginn out there.

The Commanders want to retain Garcon and he wants to be there. So unless the Rams, Eagles, Bears, Cowboys, or 49ers want to pay more for his services, it sounds to me like he isn't going anywhere. You can go ahead and scratch the Cowboys off that list because we aren't getting in that bidding war.
