Cowboys among five teams reportedly interested in Pierre Garcon

Someone look at the way they run routes in Washington and compare to what they run in Dallas. Would he have the same or similar succes as in Washington or turn into TWill with the routes Dallas runs.

He is better than twill and would be a nice compliment to Dez that is capable of being the number one receiver if Bryant misses any games. Its that time of year every free agent where dallas is a possible landing spot so you can't read too much into this. If we did lose Williams nobody should be disappointed if Garcon is the replacement...

I'd take Garcon over Williams in a heartbeat, even at 31. He hasn't missed a game since 2012.

I've mentioned Garcon before as somebody to consider.

The Cowboys scheme needs a very reliable #2 WR even if that player is not a super athlete.

If Dez can keep his head in the game just enough to draw double coverage, then a guy like Garcon should be good.

Obviously at 31 before the season, the contract would need to be short.

Fans complain about Dez's limited route tree. Jackson runs like three routes. Deep inn, go route, and some variation of a go route, like a hitch and go or slant and go.

Yep, can't have those 2 together as starters. Dumb and dumber. They have to be paired with #2 WRs that are good route runners and know the scheme.

What.........Williams scored more TDs with almost half the catches. Points win ball games not catches and yards. That's crazy to take Garcon over Williams at this point in their career

Talking about free agents bores me because it always comes down to the price tag. Would I be interested in Garcon? Sure, at the right price.

This team allegedly has a future. Folks shouldn't think in terms of just next year but a few years down the line. Witten's pass catcher role is likely to decline after he retires after next year.

Ain't going to happen. Not the way Dallas operates. He'll stay in Washington or go to a higher bidder. Dallas will do what they always do = wait for the first line of spending to finish and then sift thru the trash.....
