No danger of that - Jimmy was retired from coaching by the time Belichick became the Pats head coach.
Actually they were both coaching at the same time. Why do you think Belichick told Jimmy that on his boat

I love that Prescott is betting on himself waiting for the end of the season before he even thinks about a new contract. I think the kid is a winner this is the season for me the tell all. Cleans up a few little things and he's right there

Belichick would release Brady himself if he could get away with it, so I'm reasonably sure The Patriot Way would not include giving Dak a zillion bucks.

They were coaching at the same time while Belichick was coaching in Cleveland.

Belichick didn’t become the Pats coach until 2000. Jimmy retired after the 1999 season.

Elliott will be begging the play. If we were the Patriots.

Haven't even watched the video, but it's obvious to me that with Dak as our QB, we must allocate sufficient resources to overcome Dak's deficiencies.

Right now, we just can't be the Patriots..

They need to send the message home with Daks contract.

Paying Dak that kind of money is such a bad valuey.

What kind of money, he's not asking for anything. He's waiting

I hope he proves he's worth big money, but I have my doubts.

I admire his confidence, though. Dak is mentally strong and handles pressure well (hence all of his comeback wins). I'm just not convinced he's a polished passer on a consistent basis, but I'd love to see him change my mind this season.

Kraft, Belichick, Brady.

Jones, Garrett, Dak.

Spot the difference?
I don't like doing scenarios what ifs. Because it's late. I'll try it imagine Prescott. In a system designed just for him by mr. Belichick. Watch out

Is this recent, because reports up to now have been that their was interaction between the Cowboys and Dak’s agent.
That's new to me my cowboy brother. I thought Prescott was waiting until next season. He wasn't in a hurry. Maybe the Joneses are implementing something trying to get it all wrapped up because I don't think it was Prescott

Belichick didn’t even design the Patriots system. His background is as a defensive coach.

My issues with Prescott turn his intermediate pass. Releasing the ball not soon enough. Not trusting what he seen. Other than that he has all the tools
