Cowboys assistants hated parcells

Seem to me Parcells assistant coaches have done well for themselves over the years and have given a lot of credit for that success to Parcells. I would also add it appears teams are attracted to Parcells assistant coaches much like they have been over the years with Bill Walsh assistant coaches.

When has "a guy" ever been wrong? I can personally vouch for "a guy", and say that "a guy" is correct roughly nearly half of most of all of the time. Over the years, you get to know "a guy", and you realize that when "a guy" speaks, people listen.

Who killed your son?

Some Puerto Rican Guy.

Besides Chicks really dig "A Guy" so, you know, there's that.

;)

Whenever you hear about so-and-so says says BP created a bad work environment it's really about the person complaining. When someone challenges you you have two choices. One, accept the challange and get better. Don't take it personally. Those are the people like Sean Payton that credit BP. Two, get defensive and take it personally. Those are the people like LA and 'unnamed assistants'. It's real simple. BP is consistant. It's people's reactions that vary.

true, but it might be true. with parcells pushing guys like haley on national tv. u could see how his assistant could hate him.

this sort of brings me back to larry allens interview last after he was released. and saying it was miserable at VR with parcells there. not only for players but coaches

Bad example, Bub.

BP: "Larry, we gotta practice."
LA: "You're mean."

latin and the rest of the BP haters will jump on ANYTHING. Does not matter all the assistants over the years that credit BP with them making it in the game. As always, FACTS are trumped by those with an agenda.

Larry Allen was just mad because Parcells was making fun of his weight, and was forcing him to exercise in the manner that prevented injuries to Olinemen, which was different than what Larry Allen used to do, working out on his own and just on his upper body, notice how once Larry Allen leaves and goes to the '9ers, and starts resuming the pre-Parcells' workouts, he gets injured? players and assistant coaches hate Parcells' methods because they are strenuous, but they work more times than not

Parcels said up front that his style of running rough-shod on the players and coaches had to reap benefits relatively quickly or it would not work. They would take his abuse and the uneasy work environment if they were winning,,, but if there's no progress and the wheels fall off and he doesn't have an answer then he's open to criticism and mutiny.

That's Dale Hansen.

While I don't doubt him in this case, he does hate Parcells and looks to bash him at every turn.

Dale Hansen is TOXIC....

The one thing Parcells brought was discipline..no more dominos in the locker room, guys that didn't practice..didn't play. If you think Owens was a problem with Parcells he will really spread his cancer under a new coach.
He also didn't win a single playoff game.

this on GAC. a guy(reporter) said that a EX assitant coach in the NFL right now that coached in dallas in the last 4 yrs. said this, and this guy just said it was actually the 2nd conforimed report to him by mouth by a EX coach in dallas, that parcells enviroment @ VR was toxic.

This comes as no surprise to me. Contrary to the popular opinion at the time, I was saying this while Parcells was holding us hostage.
