Food, groceries, etc. aren't bad. Start looking for a place to live and it gets a little pricey (I guess that depends on what you are making and what you pay now). Compared to what I pay for my place, now, and a place in say Castle Rock or Boulder, Denver, etc, and it's a nope for me. California residents would be in hog heaven if they could find the balls to leave the ****hole they currently live in.
Oh yeah dude, Boulder/Denver is insanity. We actually priced a few houses here for ***** and giggles and our jaws dropped at what we COULD afford.
I live in Austin right now, so it's not the cheapest place in the world .

( ancient Indian adage,,,, from somewhere.
