Cowboys being secretive with Prescott's practice participation

Hmm. I'm very interested to see what he looks like. Offensive line and running game are going great, defense is awesome, offensive penalties are down, we've been undefeated with a bus driving backup qb. Literally no excuses left on the table. Let's see him backup his "take the offense up a notch" talk. I'm all for it.
 
Rush is starting. This is a distraction to force Philly to split prep.

If we get Tampa Dak and lose...media heads keep to talk about how stupid Jerry and the Cowboys are for not riding with the winning backup. They get to use Daks contract vs Rush contract and Rush was winning...

Its just really doesnt make sense from a distraction standpoint and when youre 4-1. Look...I didnt create the unreasonable trolls but they are there.

From strictly a distraction standpoint it doesnt make sense to play Dak. But I dont know how critical it is to win this game as far as getting into playoffs with both Dallas and Philly looking like best teams in the league.

I would love for Dak to play though

You make total sense and I agree. No real time snaps in preseason and looking worse than he ever has against Tampa makes the current situation a little different for me. If you believe in morale or momentum...Philly would have it big time over Dallas the second time we play if they beat up on a rusty Dak Sunday. Granted...he was rusty the first time and shouldnt be the second.

Its a tricky situation because of distraction that shouldnt be there. Yes..I agree with you...you play your franchise QB if hes 100 every single time because it was the smart decision even if you lose.

I care who starts because Prescot doesn't win these types of games, especially against teams with winning records. This dude goes MIA and doesn't show up until the Boys are down by double digits and is throwing against prevent defenses. That's when the real Prescot shows up, he knows there are passing yds to be had so he can pad his fake stats!

Not here to bash Dak. He hasn't thrown a ball prior to today in almost a month. This Eagles Dline will be as disruptive as TB was. On top of that he didn't play in preseason and hasn't had many reps. I know some people on here want to think that if he plays Sunday, he'll be this savior. In reality he's not ready to get in there just yet. He's close. Since he's our starter once healthy I would hope he gets a game under his belt before the BYE since we see GB coming off of it.
