He was good the last half of the season but it seems like he gets injured a lot

I’d rather have Hopkins or Evans it would cost less

I think we could get Hopkins for a 3rd, but the FA WR market is dwindling. It will come down to a trade or OBJ if they're serious about filling that spot. Sure they could draft a guy but could still end up right back in a Tolbert-like situation.

No offense, but that’s Jerry thinking….lol…..and we lose out.
Either Jerry Jeudy at 23 is worth #26 or he isn’t. There will absolutely be no wr at #26 who compares with Jeudy…that’s a fact. CBs will be picked over. There’s no OG worth a #1 pick this year. No LB.
The only RB is Bija. No DT. No edge by then. We don’t need a safety. We don’t need a center.

It’s most likely a wr or a trade down if possible. Make the deal. I’d feel better about Jeudy than any of the older guys fitting as #2. Plus, the age is perfect.
Jeudy is worth the pick. But he and Lamb are due for extensions at the same time and I can’t imagine keeping them both. You are probably giving up the pick for 2 years of Jeudy.

A 2 for Jeudy is better deal than any other WR that has been discussed - if we can get it done. Heck, even a 2+ 5or 6

I still believe OBJ is their top choice due to his price and no draft compensation
Yeah I’m trying to come to grips with it.

You and I differ on that one. I don’t think he fits the idea of what MM said they want to do, but maybe he fits Jerry’s agenda, and not being on the same page is probably a problem.

In what world does he not fit the wco? He’s a perfect fit

O’Cyrus Torrance is absolutely a 1st round OG.

I'm not impressed about Juedy. What's so great about him.
Former 1st round pick for a reason out of Alabama. For some reason. Hasn't put it all together. Maybe new system and change of scenery would help

Perhaps paying the full asking price without negotiating a better deal is "Jerry thinking". The longer he's available, the more likely the price goes down. Denver will have a hard time retaining him after this.

Otherwise I agree with your logic. But to be fair, it ignores the very real salary cap implications to the trade. Whatever player Dallas selects at #26 will cost far less than Jeudy. I've already stated that whatever player they pick at #26 may not be as good as Jeudy.

Yeah well that shouldn't be a surprise to anybody. Which leads one to believe that it will be the same old disfunctional circus that has always been.

No. Young with upside- sure but he’s gonna need an extension on top of likely being a 2nd round pick. If they think they can stomach both a new ceedee contract and a jeudy contract (seems unlikely and counter productive from a cap standpoint) fine but otherwise send the 2nd round pick to Arizona.

Have Hopkins for 2 years as a bridge and move on.
