No. Young with upside- sure but he’s gonna need an extension on top of likely being a 2nd round pick. If they think they can stomach both a new ceedee contract and a jeudy contract (seems unlikely and counter productive from a cap standpoint) fine but otherwise send the 2nd round pick to Arizona.

Have Hopkins for 2 years as a bridge and move on.
I would like to know why Arizona wants to get rid of him.

Jeudy has missed 9 games the last 2 seasons and after 3 seasons as a highly touted 1st round draft pick has averaged 52 catches for 764 yards and 3 TD's.....

Sorry but I would not be giving up a 1st or 2nd round pick for Jeudy, especially with the missed games, average stats, and a 5th-year rookie option year in 2024 where his cap hit would be $12.987M

Yeah I’m trying to come to grips with it.

You and I differ on that one. I don’t think he fits the idea of what MM said they want to do, but maybe he fits Jerry’s agenda, and not being on the same page is probably a problem.
If healthy, which is the biggest question, is a good fit for this offense

He’s clearly their top choice but he’s gonna get 12-14 million per season probably. Can’t see Dallas offering that unless they plan on cutting Gallup after this season.
Let’s see what his price will be, don’t think many teams are still in the market for a receiver at this point

Jeudy would cost us only $2.7M this year and $13M next year but I still wouldn’t give a 1st. Not even sure I’d give a second But obviously he has more value in a trade than some other guys because of how cheap he is relatively speaking. I’m Torn. Definitely give up a 3rd But doubt that gets it done

Cardinals have to ship them because their kind of screwed. That have little cap space, just fired their coach, and their roster has tons of needs. Their injury prone overpaid QB is about to cost them 50+ million on the cap next year so that's not helping either. Hopkins is the most obvious cap causality (almost 35 million saved over the next 2 years which they absolutely need)

2nd and Joseph might move the needle, just because he has tools and was an excellent prospect. Also because of wishful thinking.
Does Joseph add or subtract value in that scenario…
