Cowboys Connection with Coach Aaron Glenn Gets 'Intriguing' News Update in Search

Anyone watching the Lions defense tonight?

Worth a quick read.

Aaron Glenn, 52, played for the Cowboys. He's a Texas guy. He's getting rave reviews for his work running the Lions defense. And now comes word that Jerry Jones is "intrigued'' with Glenn as a head coach candidate.

FRISCO - We have strongly suggested in this space that if the Dallas Cowboys wish to shed themselves from their growing reputation as an "unserious football franchise,'' they should find a way to interview, among others, Aaron Glenn.

And suddenly it seems Jerry Jones might agree with us.

He would fit right in with our recent playoff Defense.

Anybody hear that giant thud?

That’s Robert Saleh falling to the floor in laughter at what we’re seeing.

Saleh cash just went about another 2 million.
He’s gonna get 11-14 m

This Lions defense is pathetic, no thanks on Glenn.

He doesn't even deserve an interview

Ummmm what would people have said about Quinn last year following GB? Do you realize how many players are missing for DET? They lost their #1 CB on the first series in addition to their 6 other starters that were already out.

Dan Quinn is in a different league as a DC. Lions defense has been weak all year, the offense is great because they have great players.

Ummmmmmm, did you see all the injuries they had? It's more than the Cowboys. Like the announcers said, they had guys off the street practice on Wednesday and play on Sunday. Their best defensive player got hurt against us.

Yes I did. The Lions defense has been weak all year not just tonight. Even with Hutch they were weak on the back end and he's an ex- corner.

And even with all the injuries would you like to guess what their PPG allowed ranks?

7th with 20 PPG allowed.

Everyone has injuries. Their offense is on the field all day, keep that in mind.... we're talking serious ball control. They have been weak against the pass all year.

I don't see Glenn as a HC in Dallas with 250M invested in Dak Prescott. There's an outside shot he gets an interview for DC.

I hope we bring him in for an interview for your sake.

They haven’t been weak against the pass just based on yards allowed. Teams pass on them because they are +222 in point differential so teams have to pass to catch up.

Jameson Williams has 5 50+ yards TDs and Gibbs has long TD runs as well. This isn’t just a ground and pound team. They do a lot of quick strike on offense. Other teams get plenty of drives They just don’t usually do anything with them.
