Actually when you have two arbitrary independent ideas there is no burden of proof.

I am saying that you should consider comparisons to only other NFL QBs past or present.

You are saying that it should be compared to all human beings.

Your method is never done and is only comparing like versus like in only the most general possible sense.

Comparing NFL players to other NFL players of the same position has much more meaningful context.
